Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous fragrance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this just from the bottle. It’s not overly fancy. Its an affordable fragrance which is absolutely beautiful. It isn’t too strong which is my biggest love of it as I hate when perfume is over powering. I spray 3 times any time I use it and people still comment on how lovely it is even after 5/6 hours out and about. Or even at work. I have the 12ml which fits in perfectly into my bag or purse, so I can take it to work or whenever I’m going out. I highly recommend this fragrance and I will definitely be buying very soon, will also be buying it as a christmas present for my mother in law as she loved it!

The first spray instantly made me think of a forest due to its woody and earthy notes. It is quite strong initially but not in a bad way. It dries down to a lovely intensity and is very long lasting. The only way I can describe it is luxurious and my husband tells me it smells expensive. I can defintely tell its a high end fragrance. If you want to stand out from the crowd with a unique fragrance then this is for you. It is a real bonus that the fragrance is a vegan formula. The modern, contemporary packaging fits perfectly with the brand.

A little of this perfume really does go a long way. The scent lasts all day and I could still smell it the following day on my coat. It had a lemony smell to it which I liked, mixed with other scents. The packaging is very nice and made of good quality materials. You can tell you are buying a high end fragrance. It sprays in a fine even mist from the 12ml bottle and is evenly distributed. It is very expensive and I’m not sure if ever buy it but it really is a unique fragrance unlike any other.

The top notes are Juniper, lemon, bergamot and pepper. Middle notes are pine needles, incense and orris root and base notes are vanilla, sandalwood and amber. It really gives the feeling of fresh outdoors, it’s woody and aromatic. It isn’t over powering but a powerful subtle scent. I’ve had so many compliments on this! The only thing is I did need to reapply after a few hours and for the money that’s a little disappointing. But I love it all the same it’s such a gorgeous unusual smell!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazingly unique fragrance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gypsy water: Gypsy water is perfect for holidays in the summer or for any day or night occasion all years along. I wear it even to work without any specific event just because im obsessed with this fragrance. It has a very unusual and very unique smell i couldn't really compare to any other fragrance. Very light texture not overwpowering at all. I would describe it a but floral a bit citrus with warm sandalwood and a bit of smokey hint. From the morning it has lasted around lunch time on my skin. Overall im satisfied with this parfum has a great smell.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not my type of perfume [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try the Byredo Gypsy Water Eau De Parfum, and while it's undeniably a well-crafted scent, it unfortunately didn't align with my personal taste. However, I believe that fans of incense-like fragrances would thoroughly enjoy this unique fragrance. On first application, Gypsy Water opens with a burst of fresh citrus notes that provide a zesty and invigorating sensation. I must admit, this initial stage was quite appealing, giving an impression of vibrancy and liveliness, however, as the fragrance settles on the skin, the scent transforms into a prominent incense aroma that dominates the entire composition.

Gypsy water smells clean and fresh, but sweet at the same time, elegant and subtle but still noticeable. It smells expensive, but like old-money rich, like “not out to show you I’m rich, but you know I am” rich. It’s definitely a unisex scent that has so many different notes to it, it’s woody, it’s citrusy, it sweet. Lovely perfume, only downside is how long it lasts - it’s fades to a far softer scent by half way through the day, still lovely scent just not as noticeable.
