Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Dignified [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the same cologne for about 20 years now, and my wife likes it when I get a new scent from time to time. I tried this one from Cartier because they make a lot of fragrances that I (and my wife!) enjoy. Declaration is great. It's smells great, is not overpowering and very dignified. I think that you could use it easily as your every day cologne at the office, or keep it for special occasions. It also stays with you, on your clothes and skin, throughout the day. It may be a little more pricy than some others, but a little bit goes a long way, so the bottle will last me a good while.

Usually in these conditions, I lean more towards floral scents for my cologne, because it blends well with my body’s natural scent and the dry heat. This particular scent was good, but not for me. This was more…spicy & citrus-y than floral. Which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just not for me, hence why I deducted a star. I’ll try this again in the winter to see how I like it! Some good news is that if you have sensitive skin, this won’t break you out and the smell lasts an entire workday! Try it out, it could very well contain some notes you’re looking for!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Cologne [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Declaration Haute Fraicheur After getting the Declaration Haute Fraicheur cologne I was left wanting more of the amazing woody and citrus scent profile. This scent by Cartier is classy and perfect for men or women in the summer. This bottle comes with a nice security clamp for no accidental sprays and also has a really nice atomizer for the perfect amount of spray to come out each time. The longevity of this cologne is around 6 to 12 hours so it's pretty moderate but overall I would say that it is a really good scent to have during the summer / spring and would recommend to anyone looking for a new flanker scent by Cartier.

I like to wear certain scents in the summer and different ones in the winter. I was excited to try this high end Déclaration haute fraîcheur eau de toilette by Cartier. This fragrance has spicy and woody notes along with spices and citrus. It's intoxicating and reminds me of spring. A very elegant scent that I find find perfect for spring and summer. It has awesome staying power and I've received a lot of compliments while wearing this. I'm definitely adding it to my collection!

After sampling this Declaration Haute Fraicheur I can honestly say that this will be added to my collection. I enjoy the woodsy, citrusy and spicy scent. It's a clean, warm and sensual scent that is noticeable but not overpowering. Sexy and sophisticated feeling. This can be worn year round and for all occasions. A couple of spritz and it lasts all day. I rarely get compliments and I actually got a couple of them wearing this scent. I really enjoy wearing it daily and that's not an easy thing to do at my office without offending someone. This gets two thumbs up!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh & Light [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right off the bat you get a light but powerful mix of citrus and floral notes then the blend of woody & spice notes hit you at the end. I like a lot of Cartier’s fragrances and use them often, but I have never used the original Declaration Haute Fraicheur to compare. Not sure if I am a fan of the scent however my wife definitely loves it on me so I will probably use here or there. The full-size bottle is pretty cool, it has a light blueish grey tint to it and comes packaged in a nice red box. Overall, the fragrance is pleasant with a burst of fresh notes that are not overwhelming and can be wore anytime of the day. I would recommend to others.

The scent will last an entire day with just a few pumps of the bottle. I initially picked up on a citrus scent after initial application, after a few minutes I appreciated a cedar scent that complemented the citrus perfectly. Overall it seemed to have a touch of musk that is not overpowering and can be attractive to both genders! My wife loved the scent, which translates to continued usage on my end. I have been asked by numerous coworkers what scent I am wearing since using this, and I have happily informed them the name of this wonderful product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong Citrus Notes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Declaration Haute Fraicheur is a fairly strong fragrance I believe is best suited as Spring and Summer daytime scent. To my nose, it comes off with predominantly citrus notes with floral undertones and a bit of cedar. The scent, while strong, does not come off as heavy or overpowering, but it is not what I would call subtle. It is the type of present sent that will be noticed by people in the same room as you without necessary being right next to you. It would be a good fragrance to wear when predominantly outside on warm day.
