Rated 5 out of 5 by from rich! I love the scent of this candle, it's rich, slightly fruity and sweet, a tiny bit spicy, but overall, warm. It's like the perfect perfume in a candle! The scent fills the room beautifully and walking into it feels like a hug from your favorite person. I burn the Gilt Pomander Hinoki candle for at least 2 hours a day and it burns so beautifully, it's my second favorite candle (first favorite is Candy Crushed Canes) for the holiday season. I recommend burning this at the end of your holiday dinners, before dessert time, as this is the best scent to accompany any sweet treats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unique sent, better delivery packaging required [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with the good - the scent is like a musky floral, carries well, might smell a little like granny's house but it's still nice, good for bedroom, living room. Given the shipping aspect being out of their control, I wish they'd adjust the packaging to a completely sealed part over the candle and the cover of the tin or jars packaged separately. By the time it arrived, the wax had seeped through the tin cover onto the paper it was wrapped in but I'm making use of the drenched paper as it still carries the scent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You need this candle I was so pleasantly surprised with this scent. The clove and cardamom gives it a nice spice that's rounded out with the vanilla. It's an outdoorsy scent that works beautifully during the holiday months with my tree and garland up, but I could see myself lighting this in the summer as well! I have a large, open concept first floor and the scent seems to travel through into every room. As always, the packaging is sleek and gorgeous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SWEET DREAMS I lit this candle every night before I went to sleep. It filled with the room with a calming energy, and truly helped form sweet dreams. It helped with manifestations, good thoughts and kept the room light, as I don't like to sleep without a little light to guide the way. Not to mention when I say every night, the flame would last into the morning. And the smell is AMAZING. This candle right here, is a MUST HAVE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Given as a gift Gave this one as a gift at the holidays to a lovely neighbor of mine. The recipient likes it, so that is all that matters. I prefer the candles in the ornate porcelain containers that they used to sell them in, with the hinged lids. Those are like getting two gifts in one. Just can't seem to find those anymore. Such a shame as they looked very decorative and classy sitting out on the counter/table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow !!! I’ve never smelt a candle like this before, Voluspa nailed it with the perfect combination of sweet, warm, and spice. This is the perfect holiday candle that everyone would love. I will probably light this candle all year long since it gives the perfect touch of warmth to your house. The aroma will fill any room beautifully as it is quite strong but not over bearing, it’s perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Voluspa Fave!! Obsessed with Gilt Pomander & Hinoki! This scent is the perfect blend of sweet and spice and will give you ALL the holiday feels! The quality of these candles are second to none. They burn evenly, last a long time and the fragrance will fill any room for hours on end. I love the color scheme and design on the 3-wick tin candle. Definitely one of my favorite scents from Voluspa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dipping your toes into holiday This is like the perfect holiday "kick-off" scent. It is so wintery, yet more fruity, so it doesn't smell like full blown christmas yet! It's transitional into holidays, if you will! Also, the tin is so cute and the 3 wick really burns well. You don't get those weird gaps of wax that doesn't melt and you feel like the candle is wasted. This burns very nicely!
