Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft & sumptuous I took a punt with this candle after seeing it as the newest addition to the Jo Malone Home Fragrance line and wasn't disappointed. Whilst the actual fragrance is soft and powdery, it's not feint and it fills a room. It's very sumptuous and is a gorgeous backdrop scent for a dinner party, everyone who comes to our home when this scent is burning comments on it. I'd definitely recommend this home candle, it's something I've continued to buy and will do in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Utterly stunning There are no stores in Cornwall that I know about who stock Jo Malone products so I rely on peoples's reviews and the free sample to find my favorite scents. After receiving a free sample of Peony Blush I decided to order the candle.What a divine aroma, it fills the room with a scent that is so different to other candles I have tried from Jo Malone. The only slight down side is that although it is on an even surface and is trimmed to the recommended length it hasn't burned evenly. At least with all these beautiful products to choose from you always know what you would like to receive at Christmas!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A beautiful subtle scent This was my first ever Jo Malone purchase and it really is a beautiful candle. I bought it from the Brook Street branch and I have to say as a first experience to Jo Malone it was a lovely one. The stylist was very helpful, friendly and patient whilst I struggled to make up my mind over all the beautiful different candles! This candle has a beautifully subtle scent. Initially I thought the fragrance was perhaps too soft, but after a few burns the scent has really started to come out and it easily fills my room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful treat I love Jo Malone products, and this candle was such a luxury to have in the house, just a beautiful floral scent that filled the room with such a luscious smell! For the price the smell could probably have been stronger and filled more of the house but it worked fine in the kitchen and threw a gorgeous aroma.

Found it a little overpowering after it had been burning for a couple of hours so you don't need to burn it for ages to fill the room with fragrance. This is my favourite JM candle of the ones I have tried so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fragrant and powerful The candle itself smells great. It has a lovely floral scent which is slightly sweet, and makes a room feel fresh, yet still warm - the way a candle should. I had originally bough one for my parents as a gift, and after smelling it in the store, I returned five minutes later to buy myself one. In terms of burning time it lasts a standard time for a candle of its size i.e. about 20 hours or possibly a bit more. So far as candles go, it's expensive however I don't think how much it costs an hour sounds too expensive, so it really depends on how you look at it. A reduction to 4 ribbons is because of two things: price, and quality. Price, because I don't feel that any candle of this size can be of this price can be good value unless it performs another function - like doing the dishes for you. (Albeit, it's a luxury, and I continue to buy it.) In respect of quality and as noted by another reviewer, it does emit black smoke even with a maintained wick and it does begin to give the rim of the candle a black coat. This looks a bit unsightly.
