Rated 5 out of 5 by from A WONDERFUL AUTUMN SCENT I just received my Voluspa order today and one of my items was a mini tin candle in the Burning Woods scent. Wasn't sure what to expect which is why I only purchased a mini tin. Well...I'm on the site now to order more Burning Woods! I cannot emphasize enough the sensitivity I have to so many scents, along with being somewhat particular. This is a warm, take me into fall kind of scent. Clean and crisp with that burnt wood throw being just enough - not at all overpowering or too "burnt." Thank you, Voluspa!

He misses having a fireplace in our current home and I hoped this fragrance might be reminiscent of a burning fire. It exceeded our expectations by far!! We’ve been putting the Netflix Fireplace Classic on in the morning and lighting our Burning Wood candle while we have coffee. Makes us smile at the alternate reality that is reality for our senses. The fragrance is subtly smoky without being acrid…just a hint of warm winter comfort. We’ll done.

Imagine visiting an enchanted wood in autumn, where the air is crisp but filled with the soft scent of a nearby bonfire. The burned wood’s scent finds its way to you, where it blends with the greener woods nearby. This scent reminds me of a soft sweater that was previously worn to that magical bonfire. There’s just enough scent to transport you to that fall evening without it being overbearing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Husband approved, nice smoky, sweet and earthy scent. A mix of sweet, woody, smoky. We love the Baltic amber scent and this is a little similar but with a smoky woody smell. Pleasant smell that’s not overpowering or too perfumy, just the right blend, but stong enough to fill up a space. This will be on our reorder list - my husband chose this one and likes it enough to light a candle!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic, masculine fragrance I love this scent! I received it free with a purchase and upon first sniff, it's VERY "campfire," so I left it alone for a while. However, once lit, it gives off a much more subtle yet complex foresty scent. I love it paired with the forbidden fig candle in the same room.

It smells bad.....and I like woodsy etc...but I don't see how all those reviews were so similar and 5 star....just NOT at all your best candle!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No scent put off I purchased 6 different small tin candles to try before committing to larger. Although they do smell good they do not put off hardly any scent. I will not purchase again. I’m glad I didn’t invest in the larger more expensive sizes.
