Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner I’ve never used toners in the past, as all the ones I’ve tried have irritated my skin. But this one caught my eye so I bought a small bottle to try. I use it morning and night. I apply using my fingers and just pat gently onto my face. It’s very gentle, soothing and hydrating and absorbs quickly into the skin. It’s milky consistency makes it feel more like an essence than a toner. It hasn’t irritated my skin at all. I have definitely noticed a difference in the condition of my skin. It looks and feels more refined and hydrated. I’ve since repurchased the larger bottle, and I’ll continue to do so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Alcohol Free Toner Kiehls Ultra Facial Toner for All Skin Types is both refreshing and soothing. This toner doesn't contain alcohol and my sensitive skin loves its gentle milky cleaness. It does a great job at clearing away makeup missed by cleansing. I run it around my hairline and sides of face and neck, this toner always picks up the stray bits of makeup and dirt I missed during cleansing. I love how although thorough it does not strip the skin's moisture layer,in fact it leaves a smooth base ready for you to layer on serums and moisturiser. Really recommend this toner for the quality and consistent results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle yet effective toner. I use this toner in conjunction with the ultra cleanser and its the perfect combination. This is a nice white bottle with a lid you can flick open and close. The toner is a milky light colour and I pour a few drops onto cotton wool before dabbing it on my face. The toner is very gentle and I can see all the leftover debris from after I have cleansed. I am quite happy with this product as it is quite natural with no alcohol which is a bonus. It would be nice if the bottle had an indicator to show how much liquid was left but I guess I can roughly guess by holding the bottle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes My Skin Look Smoother And Balanced Milky and gentle but it cannot be used around the eyes area so I took off a star just for that but that is all. It's actually really great for the other parts of the face and neck too if you are that way inclined. It has a soft sort of texture too it from it's milkiness and I have combination oily, dry, ageing, normal skin and I can use it all over (except for my eyes area as per the instructions). Great to use as a general toner to remove any leftover cleanser and just to even out the skin tone and feel. It leaves my skin looking even and smooth. I can recommend this and I'd use it again when this little 40ml pot runs out.....and that reminds me, it comes in various sizes which is handy if you want a smaller size to take travelling with you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle cleansing This product is great to use as a double cleanse. After liberally applying the milky formula to a cotton pad and swiping it across the face and decolletage, I notice an almost instant softening effect, smoothing out my rather textured skin. It almost feels as though it exfoliates the face, leaving baby-soft skin. After usage, I notice my serums and moisturisers sink into the skin a lot better, making them more effective. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for smoother, hydrated, less textured skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect toner! Perfect toner with absolutely no complaints whatsoever! I love how balanced this toner is. It's gentle and has virtually no smell. It's only very slightly moisturising without actually clogging pores at all and not the least bit drying. Great for combination, dry, & oily skin, all round good toner for everyone and every season! I use day and night and after using this toner my skin feels super clean and prepped and ready for serums, oils and moisturiser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soothing, hydrating toner I really like this toner, it has quite an interesting milky texture and almost feels a bit more like an essence than a toner as it is slightly thicker than most other toners. This always makes my skin feel really fresh and hydrated and I especially like it for in the morning when I can't be bothered doing a proper face wash, I will put some on a cotton pad and swipe all over my face like a makeup wipe and my skin feels refreshed. I think the bottle is just very basic packaging that looks like the rest of the Kiehl's products and I think the size is good as well as it has lasted me quite a while. I do really like this toner for when my skin is a bit more dry, such as in winter and I think I would reccomend it. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I wish it would do a bit more than just provide extra hydration, but I do really like this product.
