Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discovery Bag I received this lovely product through the June Discovery Bag, and I am so excited as it is my first one. The product comes in a grey tube that is very easy to squeeze the correct amount out. I love wearing sunscreen to protect my face but it has been hard to find one that sits well under my makeup without making it cakey. So I do my normal skin rountine and put the Skinceuticals Ultra Facial Defense moisturising sunscreen on before I do my makeup. I feel straight away that it absorbs very quickly and easily and I couldnt smell anything. I apply my makeup and find that there is no cakey feeling and my makeup stays in place all day. I love that this has SPF50+, UVA/UVB broad spectrum and is a moisturising sunscreen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for colder days I somehow became obsessed with using SPF facial moisturizers since moving to Australia , so I was really excited to receive this product. The shape of tube makes it really easy to use without wasting any product. The cream itself is white , there is no fragrance , it feels bit rich on the skin , but it absorbs really well without making my skin oily and it works beautiful as make up base. I decided to put it to the real test during the test during the weekend when I went for a long walk. It offers great protection . The texture makes it perfect to use during colder days , it will be probably too rich for steamy summer days in North Queensland. Great product , thank you BH , I really enjoyed to discover this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just great The SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial Defence is a sunscreen which is a mixture of both physical and chemical sun blockers. It comes in a really great tube with an ultra fine nozzle, so its easy to dispense just the right amount. After massaging into the skin it does leave a very slight light caste on my skin, but nothing unexpected for a sunscreen with physical protection. The best this about this sunscreen is that it plays so well with makeup. I found that no matter what I put on top, I didn't experience pilling or excessive oil. Lucky for me, I have been using the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum and layering the sunscreen over the top has worked really well for my morning skincare routine on fuss free days. I will continue to purchase this sunscreen and would recommend it to anybody on the market for a good sunscreen for underneath makeup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic This product is amazing!!!! Skincare is something I’m really big on, especially skin protection. So to have a sunscreen that is SPF 50 was super exciting. I felt so excited to receive this product. The largest problem I find with sunscreens is that they are overly oily. Living in the tropics and having oily skin, I loved that this product did not make my skin oily. I also love to use this as a base for my makeup and sometime use it instead of my primer. I will definitely be using this product again. I would definitely recommend using this product on a cleansed and clear face. The only thing I didn’t love was the texture of the product, I found it to be too much of a water texture. I also, found that the product had a long lasting time. The first time I used this product was when I had to do a lot of outdoor work and was shocked to find that the sunscreen lasted for the whole day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic sunscreen! I have been loving the SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial Defense SPF50+. I can sometimes get a bit lazy with the SPF even though I know I need to wear it every day. SkinCeuticals makes it easy to remember to use even day because I have been loving this sunscreen. For starters it comes in a tube and it’s easy to squeeze out however much product you want to ease. It’s easy to apply, I didn’t have to rub for ages to apply to the skin, rather I just gently massaged it in. Once it has been you can completely forget about it because it doesn’t irritate the skin, or make my makeup do strange things. It also worked well when I wasn’t wearing makeup, and seemed to keep my skin fairly hydrated all day. Even when I was out and about all day, I felt like this sunscreen provided me with protection without needing to continuously reapply it. My skin tone is thanking me so much for discovering this sunscreen.

I had heard so many great things about this cream and was really excited to give it a go… I really loved the tube it came in… It was so easy to store and I loved that it can drain the cream out, so you get every last drop… It wasn’t too greasy or drying on the skin… A little seemed to go a really long way… I really felt like it left my skin feeling plumper and softer… I found it to be a great foundational base to apply makeup over the top… It was like a protective barrier and my make up didn’t look cakey or greasy either… I really loved that it contains a broad-spectrum sunscreen in it… It saves the hassle of applying that or looking for it in other make up products… I wasn’t overly impressed with the smell of this though… It did smell really chemically and just a bit off… Other than that, I found it to be a great one to try… It did all I needed it to and I was quite happy with the results…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent The SkinCeuticals Ultra Facial Defense sunscreen is a broad spectrum sunscreen that offers very high protection (50+) against UVA and UVB rays. I purchased this sunscreen at Beauty Heaven’s latest Rewards Room promotion and have found it to be a pleasure to use. This sunscreen comes in a pale blue box with the SkinCeuticals brand written in black on the outside. Inside the box is a thin 30ml grey tube. The tube has a pointy, narrow opening, so that the amount dispensed is easy to control. The sunscreen has a milky consistency and I found that a little of this sunscreen went a long way. Also it was easily absorbed and it didn’t leave a white film on my face. Another good point about using this sunscreen was that I was able to use it underneath my makeup without any problem. As it is winter, obviously I haven’t been able to test this sunscreen on hot sunny days but I have every confidence that it will continue to perform well and that I will have good protection from the sun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Simple High SPF Face Cream I found this to be quite rich even though I barely need to use any - but I do have a oily combination skin. I like that it was simple and straight forward to apply in the morning. This is all I needed to protect my skin. I love that it's broad spectrum and SPF 50+. I love that it has physical blockers as well as chemical blockers which means that the physical blocker also stabilises the chemical blocker as well as protecting the skin from the sun's rays. It goes on invisible - there is no white casting with this. It's a white coloured lotion-cream but goes on clear on the skin. It's rich enough to use on it's own as a day cream with the added benefit of a very high SPF. This face cream feels comfortable and nurturing on my skin and is fairly easy to spread. I put it all over my face and a little more where I get sun blotches and also on my nose and around my eyes and mouth properly. It comes in an elegant tube of 30ml so it's a great size for travel. I also didn't need to use much because it is quite a nourishing-feeling product. It has a nozzle nosed tip under the screw-on cap which makes it easy to squeeze out with no mess or without squeezing out too much. The nozzle nose makes it easy to control how much I squeeze out. I only took a star off because it gave me a bit of sheen by mid afternoon and having an oily combination skin type with a naturally oil T Zone I probably could go a little less on the nourishment side of this formula but it was easily fixed with a dab or two of my favourite mattifying powder foundation on my oily areas in the afternoon. It just helped to combat the sheen a bit as I tend to like a more matte look on my skin rather than a dewy look. There's no scent to this and I would use this again when it the tube runs out. I will definitely keep using this on a daily basis. I love the confidence that it gives me that my skin is super protected.
