Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't live without Hydropeptide Solar Defense! I love Hydropeptide Solar Defense Tinted! It is the lightest, non-clogging mineral based sunscreen and the tint matches my pale skin without adding any weird orange tones. Doesn't set into fine lines, stays in place even on my most active days. I use a hydrating serum underneath and the coverage lasts all day. I rarely need to add any other makeup, just a bit of concealer sometimes, for perfect blurred skin. It also smells much nicer and blends in better than any other mineral based sunscreen I've tried. I keep an extra tube in the cabinet to make sure I never run out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using for 5 years now!! Solar Defense tinted has been my sun block and foundation for the entire time I've been using it. The self-adjusting color spheres blend well over my moisturizer and camouflage well. I still use a blemish cover over dark spots once the sun block is applied. It's kept me from burning my face in the sun nicely. I use the size of a dime to cover my face. I tried mixing the plain version of Solar Defense (colorless) to see if I could get the tint to be less for winter, but found the two..tinted and not tint didn't mix well. If they were able to mix well you could control the tint when summer goes into winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUST for your Daily Routine I’ve been using this product for over 2 weeks. I’m in Baja California right now and am diligent in using this for sun protection. I’m very olive so this is best suited for me when I mix it with a little bit of my CC cream to give me a darker glow. I never put my face in the sun so I need a little bronzer. I love how this goes on and isn’t greasy or shiny. I wear an SPF on my face every day being in San Diego. I love the protection it gives me without ruining my makeup when I put it on. This is a must have for the sun. Even though your makeup may have an SPF in it, it won’t protect you like sunscreen will. Let’s face it— the sun ages you period. Not to mention the spots that appear. Think ahead!

I love this tinted solar defense SPF it leaves my skin nice and smooth with out feeling my face all oily like others I have oily skin and I always look for things to help with that. I am so glad I went with my husband to his Estetichian for a consultation she was great and knowledgeable so she recommend him this product and I decided to give it a try as well and I’m in love with it, my husband plays baseball and needs a good SPF on him all the time and this is the one he is very happy using it and knowing he is getting the protection he needs, some days I don’t wear anything else but my SPF and my skin looks and feels great Please never stop making this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It actually IS TINTED I disagree with all the reviews saying this has no tint. It comes out of the bottle without tint, but adjusts to your skin color. It may not provide enough coverage for some, but it's perfect for evening out skin tone if you like more of a natural look. It is most definitely tinted! Be careful drying your hands after applying bc you will see the tint on your towels. It was this product specifically that got me hooked on the brand in general. I love how light it feels on my skin and how well it protects from the sun. On the days I feel I need extra coverage I mix a drop of liquid cover-up and voila. But, over time I've found I do that less often. Don't need it! Just LOVE THIS STUFF.

Some girlfriends and I were treated to home facials with a variety of product samples and I could not believe the difference this tint made in just one application! I used to work in television and was often gifted complimentary beauty products and, while grateful, I never felt compelled to purchase any. After using one sample of this, I ordered the full size product and I'm a customer for life, I'm in my mid-forties and have never loved my skin, especially without makeup, but this actually makes me feel pretty. I cannot recommend this enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sunscreen ever! My aesthetician turned me on to this. I don't use a foundation anymore. Now it's not full coverage so don't mistake it for that. However, if you have clear skin already, and don't really have things to cover, you can use this for your foundation. I actually use a luminous primer underneath. This is also beautifully luminous. It has enough tint that it covers the redness in my face. That's really the only issue I have with my skin. It also doesn't look white like most zinc based sunscreens do. I apply powder over it. It smells fantastic too, and my friends have borrowed it and love it! Stock up!

I stopped wearing foundation during COVID, and now I utilize this product exclusively as both my facial sunscreen and "foundation". In addition to the sunscreen protection, it also gives me just the right amount of coverage to act as my foundation year-round.
