Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adding something new to the routine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to add this to my daily routine for mature skin. As the last step in the process I was hoping it would not be heavy or greasy. It is not! Very light in weight and easy to apply to targeted areas. Noticed some softening of lines after about 2 weeks. Waiting to see results after a month but I am pleased so far. I would buy it again. Like that it's a buildable regiman.

I know that retinol takes a few weeks to show visible results. But I am not willing to take the risk and buy several more tubes of this because Shisiedo refuses to disclose the retinol percentage. American, European, and Korean skincare companies mention it on the packaging of their products, or at least let you know if you ask. The Shiseido reps replied to people saying they won't disclose their percentage because it's proprietary. I'm sorry, but we need to know the percentage of the main ingredient. This is bare basic info when buying any retinol product. I haven't noticed any lightening of my hyperpigmentation either. I usually am super sensitive to retinol. I don't react to this at all, so it makes me wonder if it's a ridiculously low amount like .001%. If I knew they were putting in a decent amount like .3%, then I'd actually be impressed that they made a decent strength be this gentle. And I'd be inclined to continue to buy more. But if Shiseido wants to play the mystery game, I guess I'll have to put away my wallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally what I needed! This WORKS!!!! I have been a faithful Shiseido user for 36 years! But still have little lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth!! After two weeks of use-they are vanishing!!! This stuff is strong so use sparingly (made me very red when I used twice a day so now I only use it once at night) It's great! Truly working!

In the 2 months of use, my deep lines are greatly reduced, face appears fuller in those areas, & dark eye circles have been reduced, even in the face of fall allergies. Thank you for a great additional treatment to my Shiseido routine
