I'm a big fan of Kiehl's but have been scared of retinol since the last time i used a retinol product, it burnt my skin. This is a very generous sized bottle with a pump. A little really does go a long way with this serum. It has a subtle scent which is pleasant. I must say it sinks straight into my thirsty skin and with no reactions whatsoever!!! My skin has cleared and feels so much smooother. It's like a reawakening of my face. I can't believe how effect this has been.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately not all retinol products are created equally and can be way too harsh but Kiehl's have absolutely nailed their Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum. The purple glass bottle with a pump top works really well and one pump disperses the exact amount to do my whole face. The product was yellow and had a medium consistency with no fragrance. I applied it in the evening to cleansed skin and I was impressed every morning with how smooth, soft and silky my skin was! I didn't experience any redness which was great, so it is definitely all positives from me. Minimal work for maximum payoff .......love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used retinol products in the past and a lot of them have given me a slight tingly effect, some more than others. The Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum was surprisingly different. It was very comfortable from the get go, no tingling, stinging, redness or peeling. It glided on smoothly over my skin and absorbed quickly in. I like using it over night alone as I felt it worked better that way. After 2 weeks of using it I didn’t get dramatic effects but my skin did feel more smoother and brighter and slightly more firmed. I do believe in time I will notice more of a difference so I will keep in using it.

Although I was quite nervous about using this as I always a little tentative when it comes to retinol because I have sensitive skin with rosacea. I first patch tried this and happy to see no problems or irritation! A good start! I continued to use this for about 2 weeks and I was happy with my skin and how it looks post using this product! My skin was clearer and it helped with pigmentation and gave a brighter appearance to my skin! It is a super luxe product, when I found out the price I gasped but it is so worth the pennies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say, I am a little afraid of retinol products, having used them in the past and having adverse skin reactions. Due to this, I used this product as a 'treatment', rather than a daily day/night serum. And I still managed to get great results! I used this yellow serum three times a week, in the evenings only. I used one pump for each of my face, neck and decolletage. I even, as the back of the box suggested, used a pump on the back of my hands and that's where I think I noticed the greatest results (as I'd never really treated the back of my hands with anything). My skin now does look smoother and firmer and I've had no redness or irritation. The serum is pleasant to use, absorbs well, does not smell and the pump on the bottle releases just the right amount to use. I love it, and I would use this again

The serum is in glass which makes me a bit scared because my little ones like to grab and play with my items despite my efforts to get them to not play I like the pump, it is really easy to use. I feel like it is really fancy and it is just a great way to get the product out. It is very hydrating and I feel like my skin has resulted in good moisture content, it is more supple, soft and really soft to touch. It also looks really lovely and bright.

I am gradually seeing my skin becoming smoother and have not experienced any irritation using this retinol serum. It is a nice thick light yellow serum, which spreads easily and absorbs quickly. I am confident that my light wrinkle will improve with prolonged us of this serum. It layers well and has a self-life of 12 months, so you can use it at a suitable frequency. Overall, I like this retinol serum very much and highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful yet gentle on the skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Kiehl's Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum as part of Bh's Biggest Beauty Giveaway trial. This product immediately feels luxe in the hand with its heavy glass and pump that delivers the right amount every time. The serum is a medium consistency and feels luxe on the skin. I applied this in the evenings after cleansing on alternate evenings. I didn't feel any irritation immediately until the end of the second to third week where I started developing some dry patches around mouth. I did stop using it at this point to give my skin a rest. After using, my skin did feel softer, smoother and visibly brighter. I'm quite impressed with the results!
