Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunately, it did not work on my skin. I was really excited to try this cream because of all the wonderful reviews, but for whatever reason, it did not work for my skin. I trust that it really did for other people, but unfortunately for me, it exacerbated the redness around my nose and mouth. I read the directions twice and applied it following them, but it just did not work. I tried it for about a week and the redness only intensified the more I used it. I'm a little bummed because I spent so much money on this product, but I'm sure it works for others considering the reviews.

I purchased it a couple of weeks ago, and I was blown away by the results after just one use! I’ve struggled for so long to find a good moisturizer for my face, trying everything from high-end brands to budget options, but nothing seemed to work. With my hormonal acne, my skin fluctuates between being too oily and too dry due to the topical treatments I use. However, this cream has created the perfect balance for my skin every single day. THANK YOU AVENE FOR THIS AMAZING FORMULA!

I love my Avene products, and when I got a sample of Avene Cicalfate a few months ago I absolutely loved how it soothed and moisturized my skin. I ordered a tube online, and I didn't realize that it wasn't the same product until I noticed that the cream had a different consistency; and my face felt itchy that night and the next. I called Avene to confirm that the formula has changed. This new Cicalfate + has a postbiotic, is not as occlusive, and much harder to rub in. It's just not as great as the original. I use it as a hand cream so it doesn't go to waste. I wish Avene had kept the original Cicalfate as an option to purchase in the line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Caeb In the middle of an eczema flare up, and nothing was working. Skin was getting thick and raw. Applied the Cicalfate, and in 2 days, sk8n is softer and thinner, itching is much less. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly moisturising [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser is very thick and rich, I gently patted and rubbed it upwards into my face and neck, unlike lotion or thinner moisturisers I could still feel this on my face long after application which I didn’t mind as my skin felt protected against the cold air which dries my skin out terribly. I did notice my skin stayed hydrated for longer and I didn’t have any flaking on my cheeks. Despite it being quite a thick formula it rubbed in and absorbed well leaving no white cast, I’ll definitely be purchasing more of this as winter is awful for my skin and I need something that it highly nourishing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful I had an extraction from melanoma on my leg a few years back and my dermatologist told me that the scar tissue will never be the same as the rest of my skin, as I always complain of how dry it feels. It feels extremely dry compared to the rest of my skin. Every time I use this product, I feel that my scar tissue receives the extra moisture it truly needs. Love this so much. It’s the only thing I feel that truly works on that area. After reading reviews here I see that many use it on the face at night. I will definitely try this! I đź’– U AVÈNE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy grail product I have very finicky sensitive combination skin, and I am using Retin-A. This product is the holy grail. I’ve recommended to all close to me. My partner uses it, our daughter. We use it with the thermal water (on auto-replenish) and Cicalfate lip baume. Don’t hesitate. I’ve tried so many things, La Mer, Vintner’s daughter, sunday Riley and I could go on. This is it. Holy grail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non-incentivized review - just buy it. A non-incentivized review. (40’s F) my skin tends to be be dry, especially in the winter. Recently I have had several red patches small breakouts; they may be hormonal or environmental and it was driving me nuts. I ordered this based off of Reddit reviews (don’t usually do that) and have been using this as a spot treatment for red areas. At night I put it on after my moisturizer. It’s been 10 days and my skin is hydrated, healed and dare I say plumper. I don’t know what magic this is but as long as I don’t suffer from any future irritation and the product doesn’t change, I’m never giving this up.
