Rated 2 out of 5 by from No foaming in this cleanser! I ordered this recently as I am generally a big fan of Clarins products especially their body wash and handcream and have always wanted to try this cleanser. I used the product twice per day as part of my usual skin care regime for a week however I was not overly impressed! Yes it was fine to remove makeup and was soft on the skin, it does not foam as stated though and the texture is quite thick but not sticky. My skin usually leans towards dryness so I had high hopes for this but wont be reaching for it again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Non-drying foaming cleanser I have been using this Gentle Foaming Soothing Cleanser for several weeks, twice daily with the Clarins Soothing Toning Lotion. It comes in a squeezable tube and you only need a very small amount to create a lather. I generally prefer milk or cream cleansers and foaming cleansers can dry out my skin. I had tried a foaming cleanser from Clarins in the past that didn't dry out my skin and was quite creamy and hydrating. This is the new, updated version of that cleanser, which I think is slightly less moisturising. I find this product provides a pretty deep clean to remove makeup and grime, without leaving my skin dry and uncomfortable. It takes a bit of effort to create a good lather as the texture of the cleanser is a little thick. It has a pleasant yet strong floral fragrance, which I don't mind. Overall it leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and smooth, but I will probably stick to cream cleansers.
