Rated 1 out of 5 by from They do not perform as well as the white stripes I was happy to see clear strips (They were the only refills available at the Home Deport I went to) so I opt for 2 packages because they look more modern. EVERYTHING I use with the clear strip falls off and damages my items. Warning to all future buyers, the white strips will hold like we are used to, the clear strip have a high chance of falling off and does not perform like the white strips. The reason why I have clear strips is because I just recently moved and had to discard the old white strips so I bought refills thinking they would perform as their alternative white strips. When you stuff falls, it will put you in a bad mood as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stick with the white strips At first I thought I was crazy and that I had completely forgot how to use the command strips, but then I read that others were having the same problem I was. I used four of the clear, large (5 lbs each) hooks to hold something that was no more than 5-6lbs. At first they just kept popping off the wall. I then let them sit overnight with no weight. I placed my decor on the hooks the next day and they held!?..... well, up until about a few weeks later, when I came home from work and found the destruction all over my floor :( Just stick with what you know and what works: the tried-and-true white strips. It's worth avoiding the heartbreak.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from clear strips They don't hold. I hung two small picture frames, well within the weight guidelines, and both fell. I followed the instructions exactly. I believe the problem is the clear strips have been made too thin. They can't form around walls painted which may have small brush marks or other dimple. Must have an absolutely flat surfaces. The foam strips seem to be better because they can form around small rises on painted surfaces. I really love the idea of this product but would not recommend it until they at lease double the thickness of the strip. Waste of money otherwise.

I’ve been using your command hooks for years now during my holiday decorating. So when I saw these, I promptly purchased several packages. I'm sorry I did. I can't get anything to hang on them. They pop right off the wall. No, I'm not putting too much weight on them either. I had a couple of the white strips from last year and changed them out with the clear. The white strips are perfect again! Disappointed that the clear ones just aren't as god as the white. I still will buy the command strips - only in white.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large Clear Hooks/Strips [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't understand why the assorted pack of clear refill strips have small, medium and large but you don't sell large clear hooks. Your feedback to other reviews say the clear only hold up to 2 lb but the description says "Weight Capacity: 1 pound, 3 pounds, 5 pounds". I really want large clear hooks that hold up to 3-5 pounds but it doesn't look like that's an option. I would even use white strips on the clear hooks if I could get the clear hooks. Please advise. P.S., I'm a huge fan of Command Strips and use them EVERYWHERE in our house. I should own stock in 3M. Wait, I do! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Put weight limit on re-fill labels [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the products but as I have said a long time ago per telephone call to the company, please put weight limits stamped on the back of the stickers. I have so many refill labels for the hooks, all loose in a catch all drawer... I don't know which one will hold what weight? Other than that, great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Command Clear Strips I bought both the Command Clear Strips and the Regular Strips to use with my Command Hooks that I already have. I recently moved and needed to re-hang some things and used the Command Clear Strips, waited at least one hour or more and then I hung my nightgown on the hook (the nightgown is very light) and in five minutes the hook and all fell to the floor. I also tried it with my calendar and waited the 1 hour or more and 2 days after hanging it, down it went straight to the floor. Now everything that I have hung up using the regular Command Strips are still hanging even a month later. I don't like the Clear Strips and don't recommend them, and if I had the packaging I'd take them back to where I bought them and get my money back but they got lost in the move.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not work I have dozens of command strip products in my home. I have been using these products for years. I am very familiar with the limitations of how well various products adhere to different surfaces. These clear strips are useless. I am using them with medium hooks (3lb) capacity and they cannot hold an item weighing less than 8 ounces. I have tried 3 times to get these strips to hold a clear hook plus a measuring spoon to a smooth, sealed surface of a kitchen cupboard that has been cleaned with alcohol. The hooks fall within a week each time. I am very disappointed
