Rated 1 out of 5 by from product failure Three years ago I reorganized all the pictures I had hanging using command hooks on all of them. Everything worked perfectly up until about 6 months ago. Pictures started falling off the walls on a regular basis to my surprise. I now have broken picture frames that now have to be replaced. For some reason the Velcro no longer is holding together. This morning I tried to remove the adhesive strip from a wall and removed a chunk of drywall paper and paint with it. these not only mark the walls, they damage them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective Alternative to Hardware [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't count the number of times I've wanted to hang something on the wall only to change my mind or not want to add nail holes to the drywall (at work or an apartment/dorm). This is where the Command Hanging Strips come in handy. They are an effective way to hang items on a wall with easy removal. A few pro-tips... 1) clean the surface as directed - it does matter; 2) mind the direction of the strip when applying so the removal section is easy to grasp; and 3) follow the recommendations of the packaging for the weight of the item to be hung.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make sure you stay well within the weight limit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for holding small pictures other other items. The velcro type attachment makes it easy to remove and replace items as needed. The main thing to remember is to stay well within the weight limit listed on the packaging. I used 2 pairs of strips to hang an 8x10 canvas painting on the wall to ensure that it had enough support, although well below the 4lb limit. I am confident that the picture is securely on the wall as I waited 3 months to submit this review. I did receive this product in exchange for my honest review. This is my honest opinion and review of this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Bad Experience We had just renovated the whole downstairs of our home. I was very excited to finally hang pictures on my walls. We had the walls painted weeks before. We wanted to try the new Command Damage -Free picture hangers. We followed all the instructions. Things looked great and they were very simple to use. Then as we were about to go to bed for the night we heard a crash, then another, and another. The strips were all coming off the walls. The glass broke out of one picture, a frame broke on another. Two more fell to the floor. I was so disappointed. Not only would we need to rehang all our pictures, but we would need to buy a new frame and replace glass in another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to secure a wiggly decoration [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hung a cute winter decoration on my front door a few winters ago (also using a Command Brand Brass Hook) that had our house numbers dangling down from it. I loved the look, but the numbers swung free and kept banging into the door every time it opened or closed. Finally I remembered these Command Picture Hanging Strips and put one on each number. I didn't need much weight since it was just to keep them from swinging. Worked perfectly. They've lasted two Minnesota winters so far and are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hanging a Hat Rack! I used the easy-to-use 3M command strips to add a little more personality to my bedroom. My favorite sport is hockey and I wanted to add that element to my room. My friend recently broke one of his hockey sticks in half and I wanted to utilize it for that purpose. I had an idea to make it into a hat rack, but I also didn't want to drill holes through the stick to mount it to the wall. The problem was that it had to be mounted because it had to be sturdy enough to hold the weight of a few hats. The command strips worked perfectly, and because of them, I can now enjoy the stick in my room along with a place to put all of my favorite hats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Command Picture Hanging Strips are an excellent alternative to the normal nail and hook for a wire picture. I used four of them to hang the picture to test them out. I left it up for a week on walls that were painted 2 years ago, and there is no mark left at all. I would use these again for the simple fact that there is no damage to the wall if the picture had to be removed. I believe that using all four of the strips was a bit overkill. You probably would be fine with 2 on a lighter picture frame. I received the Command Picture Hanging Strips for free in exchange for my product review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are always trying to hang pictures and rotate them around the house. We have been using this command product to obtain the results we wanted. Other uses included are for hanging the plastic case where my dish sponge drains inside the metallic sink. Two different materials and it worked perfectly. I also used it for getting the fabric of my girl's doll stroller in place since it use to get away of it place. There are a lot of different uses, just let your creativity fly away! I received this product free in order to try it and write a view, however the opinions are solely mine.
