Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been holding up well so far! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've usually had problems with similar items like this where either the strips wouldn't stick properly or the object being hung from it would fall. This time I made sure to follow their directions fully and even added some more time to it. Clean the wall with isopropyl, stick strip to wall and hold for 30 sec (I think I did 15-20 but with a lot of pressure), stick hook to other side of strip and hold again. Wait 30 min before hanging anything (I waited overnight ~12hrs). Since then, it's worked perfect! The hook I have is rated for 4lbs, it is currently holding just over 5.5lbs and hopefully continues to do so!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HOLDS STRONG BUT BE CAREFUL ABOUT SURFACE PREP Surface prep instructions say to use alcohol to clean surface. Alcohol ruined the eggshell finish of the wall paint in the prep area, and the wall was repainted to restore the eggshell finish. Best not to use alcohol on latex painted surfaces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great until removal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would be a great product to use instead of putting nail holes in my walls. The adhesive and hook work wonderfully. It sticks to the wall and held up my picture perfectly. But when I went to remove the adhesive from the wall (I wanted to move the picture) the pull tab tore right off and I was unable to remove the hook from the wall. I pulled the tab straight down, just as the instructions stated to do, with no luck. I was a bit disappointed as now I am either stuck looking at the empty hook. Or unable to move the picture to its new location.

They were perfect for getting the multiple wires going to my computer and other media off of the floor and untangled. I simply applied a few in a nice path and placed the wires across the hooks. My room is SO much neater now! No one trips over cords or cables and I always know where they are when I have to take my laptop somewhere else and return to hook back up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and adhere well!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the command hook for my shower. I followed the directions for the adhesive strip, applied the hook per the directions and to test it, I pulled on the hook. It didn’t budge! It is still in place in my shower, moisture and all! I am impressed!! The hook is clear which would be wonderful for an outside wreath. Or anything that you don’t want the hook to be visible. Removal was just as easy and the directions are easy to follow. No lingering sticky stuff!! Excellent product!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Confusing packaging Purchased clear large hook (17093), as a first time user of the Command product line. Step #2 of the instruction sheet on back side of packaging, instructs to "apply strip to wall", and shows the rounded side of strip facing downward. The actual blue liner remaining on this strip, then has the "Command" wording upside-down. Is the picture on back of packaging incorrect, or is the Command logo on strip inverted in the manufacturing process. Does it matter if rounded end od strip os facing upward or downward on the wall? Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love command hooks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of 3M's products that make decorating your home and storing items so much easier. The sticky back is not at all made of cheap materials. It is hard to come off once you stick these to the surface that you are using, in my case a door. There is a tab that you can pull for easier removal. They are strong. 3M puts the weight limits for their hooks on the packaging to make it easier to but the right size. Another plus of the command hooks is that they are aesthetically pleasing, with colors that match almost any room decor/colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use two of these hooks in my dorm room this year and I loved them. I hung my headphones from one and my purse/lunchbag from the other. I never had any problems and they were so clear that I almost missed taking them down! They were very easy to remove and hassel free. I would definitely recommend!
