Rated 2 out of 5 by from DO. NO HARM??? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased, and used two (2) of your Command(tm) products. As seen in the attached photos, The white medium hooks, and the metallic hooks are used in several rooms, to support battery operated clocks and calendars. Together, they weigh LESS than one pound. I would have rated the products MUCH higher, but one of four has failed catastrophically. Including MAJOR damage to my old style plaster wall. The offending 3M Command(tm) White Medium Hook is included in the series of photos, attached. I want to believe that this is an anomaly. But, I STILL am going to have to repair my wall!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caution where you use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Command medium size hooks have worked great on tile and wood paneling. After one day I was able to use and hang bags in my bathroom (bags full of perfume and lotion). I also used the hooks to hand a hairdryer and curling iron. They worked great. It was a complete disaster on walls (drywall). I tried it in three different locations. The first one fell off in one day without even having anything on it. The second one lasted a week, and again no weight on it yet. The third one fell and took off some paint and drywall and again I didn't even put anything on the hook. Don't use on walls!

I received samples of the small and medium hooks from Command and have already used all of them in my home office. I currently have my to-do list and weekly schedule hanging on the small hooks and binder-clipped reference material hanging on the medium ones. It's wonderful to have these often-used sheets so handy and makes me wonder why I haven't done this before. I particularly love that the hooks and adhesive are clear so they don't detract from my decor (as an opaque white plastic hook would do) and allows the pretty dark-blue paint on the walls to shine through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Studio Apartment [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had to temporarily get a studio apartment in another state as my spouse is receiving cancer treatment. When we first got into the studio apartment and I saw how little room there was, no where to hang a kitchen towel, can't use nails or screws in the walls, but I wanted to make it look as close to home as possible. I thought of Command Strips. There was no where to hang a hand towel in the kitchen so I purchased the medium size command strip and it works like a charm. LOVE these strips. I also used one in the bathroom to hang a towel to easily grab when exiting the shower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged my walls!! These are the absolute worst! They are to be “damage free” but they are NOT!!! I pulled the adhesive strip straight down and slowly when trying to remove the hooks after Christmas, and the strips broke! I had no choice but to use a putty knife to wedge between the hook and the wall, which peeled the paint off in chunks!! I had to spackle and paint my walls!!! So much money wasted! I’m so mad at this company! I will never buy another command product again! This company should pay for damages! Do not buy these, some work and some don’t, and it isn’t worth the money you’ll end up paying to fix your walls!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't stick [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Command hooks and strips all over my house to hang pictures. So when I decided to hang plates in my dining room to decorate for Christmas, I bought a package of clear Command hooks. I followed the directions, wiping the wall with alcohol and pressing the hook for the suggested time. Then I waited 24+ hours before hanging anything. Some of the hooks fell off during the wait period and the one that I did test a plate on fell off immediately. I'm glad I put a chair under th plate to keep it from breaking. As it is my new decorative plate was chipped. I don't know if the glue strips were bad or what, but I was very disappointed and had to use nails to hang the plates.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't Hold I have used Command Hooks for at least 3 years with no issues prior to last year(when used as directed). Beginning last year the hooks were less dependable(don't stick to wall surface) and I had several small glass ornaments and pictures fall and break. This year I have had many more of the hooks fail where it's just not cost effective to use them. I will return to regular picture hangers and my trusty stapler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t stick I bought two different types in hopes these would work great. Unfortunately they didn’t stick longer than two weeks the first round and days technically the third round. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, allowing it to dry and then waiting an additional three hours before handing anything on it. I hung towels that weighed no more than a pound and well they promptly fell off. Very disappointed in the product. They weren’t cheap just for me to have to turn around and throw them away. Super disappointed.
