It has given me the freedom to work and study later, Which has made a hugh difference to be able to get through so much more and be able to work around the family alot more. If you are looking for a desk lamp then this woulb be the ideal lamp to get. It isn'r easliy i;y knocked over when it is a full stretch.

Is this usb charging instead of power

Thanks for your question Mabel! While this has a USB charging port for connected devices to charge via the USB port, the unit itself is powered, and includes a DC connection to wall plug. Trust this helps! ^CO
