Rated 4 out of 5 by from I want to adore this [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Y’all. I want to adore this so hard. The color is stunning on me and it does make my lips look nice. There’s not a heavy scent. HOWEVER—it’s got peppermint oil in it and I’m allergic (although not enough to a degree where I was having a serious reaction—just enough to make my lips tingle uncomfortably and be itchy). I’d absolutely recommend this if you’re looking for a long wearing, slightly shimmering gloss. I cannot speak to the plumping effects because I’m not sure how much was the collagen and how much was my body wildly overreacting to the presence of peppermint in this product.

I was really excited to try this as I enjoy Charlotte tilbury makeup. This was easy to apply and the heart shaped stick is a nice touch! It wasn’t sticky like some other brands but it didn’t add any color. My lips do look better but I really wasn’t overwhelmed by this. I feel like it didn’t plump my lips at all and while they look more smooth, the results are really underwhelming. If you are simply looking to moisturize your lips, you may want to try this but if you are looking for plumper, try something else. Overall it’s 3 stars-not bad but not great.

I personally did not experience any plumping from the collagen, but I think it wears beautifully. It gives a really nice shine - when I saw how glossy it looked I was concerned it would also be really sticky, but I don’t find it sticky at all! The refresh rose is kind of a barely there pink, but I think it’s honestly perfect for day to day. I’ve been keeping it in my purse so I can easily reapply while I’m out. I highly recommend this and will absolutely repurchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glossy and hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free for review. I actually love the collegian lip bath gloss. The texture is fantastic. It is not super sticky but has a great juicy texture. The color,Refreshing Rose, is very lightly tinted and doesn’t translate much color on the lips. The scent is slightly minty but it doesn’t burn, giving a gentle tingle. I find it leaves my lips hydrated and layers nicely with other lip products. The only thing I don’t like is the applicator. It’s adorable but the heart shape doesn’t give a good application. When applying, I need to grab more product 3-4 times to cover my lips. Other than that, formulation is great.

At least not in the sheer shade, as it comes of as simply a clear gloss with a bit of plumping. I will say that I do like how the effect of the plumping doesn’t burn my lips. I can tell it is doing something, but the overall end result isn’t massively different than my regular lips. I love the packaging, it is moisturizing and it’s great to tool other lip shades for a glossy look. I will, however continue happily using it. All in all, I like it….just not and instant love.

Pretty shine, thick enough to stay but thin enough to not feel suffocating, lasts well, not overly sticky. I would not pick this up for a plumping gloss - any plumping it might have given was very mild. What turned me off of this the most was the applicator. It is TERRIBLE in my opinion. From the shape to the flocking to the deposit. It holds SO little product and requires multiple dips just for one application. And the gloss is just sticky enough it doesn’t release super well from it either exacerbating this problem. All in all, not worth the price on my opinion and not something I will purchase.
