P-touch Editor: Download the free P-touch Editor label design software and printer drivers to design and print fully customised labels containing text, frames, barcodes and images. The built-in P-touch Editor Lite software is so easy to use - simply connect the printer to your computer, click the icon to launch the software and design and print your labels. And easily share the printer with colleagues over your wireless network using P-touch Editor Lite LAN software.
Wired and Wireless Connectivity: Having both USB, Wi-Fi and AirPrint built-in as standard, you can choose whether to use it as a personal label printer on your desk or let others also use it from their PC or Mac via your wireless network.
Print from PC, Mac, iOS, and Android Devices: Choose from several options for designing and printing labels. Download for free the P-touch Editor label design software for PC and Mac to design labels with text, barcodes, images and frames. Alternatively, head on over to your app store to download the free iPrint & Label app for iOS and Android, then quickly create and print labels from your mobile devices wirelessly.
Labels of Any Size: Rolls are available in a range of traditional die-cut (pre-sized) labels, or continuous that lets the built-in cutter cut your label to the precise length (up to one metre). And now you can draw attention to important information by including red* on your labels too - ideal for highlighting use-by dates, allergens and other critical information.
Optional Li-ion Battery Base: There are situations where you may need to print labels away from a power source, such as use on a portable trolley and printing from a tablet in retail, healthcare or similar industries. The optional Li-ion battery base has a fast charge function and lasts for thousands of labels on a full charge.
Labels for Any Application: The QL series label printers use Brother DK rolls - that easily slot in for fast label changes. Several types are available.
Works with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook: Highlight, click and print your text data directly from Word, Excel and Outlook with just a click! The P-touch Editor add-in for Microsoft Office (Windows only) allows you to print labels with the information you use every day. Alternatively, if you have text saved in an Excel or .csv file, import this into P-touch Editor and simply place each field on your label layout to print many labels with the same format (design). Rated 5 out of 5 by JamesI from Perfect! Bought to print Visitor labels... Early days yet (<1 week of use) however the printer has operated flawlessly so far. The setup was straight forward using the USB cable and a laptop - following the instructions it was up and running over wireless in no time. I'm using it with an iPad 2 with a Visitor app that output the badge to the printer within seconds of a Visitor signing in. The adhesive of the label is great - not too sticky to leave a residue, but sticky enough to adhere to clothes / high vis vest etc. Very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Loopy Lou from Get Labelling The second Brother Label Printer I have purchased in the past month (other one a P Touch) both are great. This one is versatile and can produce a multitude of size and shaped labels, making it a good all rounder. The fact that it is wireless too means it can be positioned anywhere and you can also purchase a battery pack if you so wish. The problem comes when you run out of things to label and start looking for things. Haven't quite got my head around the editor software and I'm sure it does much more than I actually need, but certainly managed to find enough on line videos to get me started.

When I first used the Brother printer I couldn’t work out what paper roll to use for the type of label I wanted. It was just a case of understanding that there were a lot of sub headings to go into and working out the size that I needed. Now that I understand that you can change the font size or adjust the length for example. It’s becoming easier to use. The only thing I hope if possible to update the software and give more colour options than it currently has. Thanks

Initially the set up is quite fiddly but once that was sorted out it worked well. The wifi function means that I can use it immediately, from my iphone and my laptop. This is a huge feature which is extremely useful. The red and black printing works really well once you access the font colour, which I finally found in the software. As you are able to use battery’s with this product it means it can be used on the go and makes the product even more appealing.

The document size must be EXACT to be able to print and must match the label settings configured in the printer and the type of roll present in the printer. You would expect that a continuous label roll of the same width (62mm) would not need so much change in configuration but you need to setup the printer all over again even if you make a minute change such as printing from another computer or switch Wi-Fi. Absolutely absurd.

Rated 4 out of 5 by claireCP from Mobile Friendly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at the size of the printer when I first unpackaged it from the box however it’s lightweight and easy to take on the go, especially if your a small business owner. I found the instructions for installing onto a computer quite difficult to follow however it’s easy to use on a smartphone with the mobile app to create your labels. Quick and easy to set up the label reels and I like that you can use different sized labels in the one printer making it multifunctional. I also like the fact that you can either use it plugged into the mains or can install a battery so you can use it wireless making it perfect for taking to events where electrical sockets are limited access. This is the perfect printer for any small business owner or hobbyist as you can add your business logo or QR code to the label.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Grannyberd from Impossible to connect wirelessly I purchased the Brother Label Printer about 4 weeks ago and am not pleased with the product as I paid more for a label printer because I wanted to be able to print from my phone or ipad as well as from my computer but despite following all online advice I have been unable to get the printer to operate wirelessly and I'm not an idiot at trouble shooting this sort of thing. Definitely will not be recommending the item to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mally from Does a great job I now have had my label printer for 3 weeks it was difficult to install on my Mac at first I followed your instructions but it kept stalling at one point and not letting me move forward to complete the install I went onto YouTube for some help after viewing a number of tutorials from Brother it still would not let me complete the install I then downloaded the app from apple for the printer and this helped to finish the install
