Great smart watch. Has all the features I need including giving me golf yardages. The sleep monitoring and heart rate monitoring is really interesting. Looks sharp and has made me measure how active I am- which makes me more active. Love it.

Think before you buy
Pros: long battery life, huge number of workouts.
Cons: uncomfortable for my hands (too big), incorrectly calculates sleeping time (when I am not sleeping and just relaxing in my bed), sometimes incorrectly calculates activities (like i was using the elliptical, when i was actually walking) or stress level (indicated high level of stress when i just did a manicure).

Fitness with some smart capabilities
Previous to this watch I owned a Samsung Galaxy watch. Tired of a bulky, laggy computer on my wrist, I decided to swap to the Garmin Vivoactive 4 because I wanted a fitness tracker that had some smart capabilities, rather than the reverse. Experience has been great, it's the best fitness tracker I've owned and is built to last.

I got this watch for my partner, and while the watch itself was good, i.e. the feel, the look, the apps, the watch caused both me and my partner, uncomfortable sensations up the arm when the sensors were on, and I actually got a static shock when wear a ring on my finger. Think its a faulty watch.

I replaced my Fitbit with a Garmin vivoactive four with staff helped me select the watch to meet my requirements although they didn’t have one in store they directed me to the website and showed me how to order it. Overall a very good experience from the staff member

Bought this to replace husbands old one. The last one malfunctioned before 3 yrs. Garmin support are hopeless & I would have bought a different brand but hubby likes it.
