Awful
About - week after my excited son got his first watch the clock stopped working. When I called the customer service knew that was an issue and it’s been about a week and should be receiving a new one. I had trouble with knowing they were selling watches to kids knowing there was a problem to their OS and they didn’t care about the kids. I wasn’t even offered any compensation back for the frustration. The customer service guy was nice but again they didn’t really care. Just set us up for a new one once I sent back my old one. Also knowing that the clock could stop again bc they are working on the OS. I would definitely buy a Fitbit or another version instead.

Doesn’t work as advertised
We purchased this for my kiddos birthday. He was so excited. One of the things he was most excited about was having his name on the watch face. It doesn’t show up. We contacted customer support and we’re told it was a glitch in the software; not to return it, they would figure it out. That was a month ago. I check in weekly and am told that the “engineers” are working on it. A friend has one that does exhibit the name on the face, so I think it may be the watch we purchased. It is too late now to return. Also, the screen is very dark and almost impossible to read without the backlight.

Love but maybe i need help
I purchased this for my 8 year old son with ADHD.
I wish I could give this a 5 star review because i do really love the product. It helps keep him on track and alert him when it is time to do things.
What I do not like is he cannot view a TO DO list, if it doesn't alarm he doesn't know its there.
Also, if I update something it will not sync right away. Even when i do the Sync -- it will do it the next day.
Also the display is very dark. -- Maybe I need help ??
Otherwise the product is great and the App is easy to use.

Perfect Kid’s Watch!
We purchased this for my 7yo son who is interested in tracking his activity and sleep, but is too young for an “always connected” device. This watch has proved to be the perfect fit! It literally fits his wrist perfectly, but also our needs. He always knows the time, can quickly reference his steps and do basic things like set a timer. The screen is low-glow so it doesn’t become a distraction even when work at school. The ability to have challenges with friends and track chores is easy and useful. I will be giving this as gifts to his cousins and friends this year based off of how much he loves it and how much it encourages movement and play! Also, extremely affordable, meets Garmin expected quality, and requires no charge for a year.
We couldn’t be more pleased and only wish we’d bought it sooner.

Poorly lit screen
I hate to do this but if I could give zero stars I would. I really wanted to love the watch for my little guy but the brightness is so dim it’s hard for him to see it at all. It’s so bad I’m going to try to contact Garmin and see if I can exchange it and pay the upgrade for a bounce watch. I also bought a bounce for my daughter and she loves it and the watch face is lit just as you would expect a watch face to brighten up when in use.

Dim screen and causes a radh
I very much wanted to like this product. Everyone in my family has a Garmin product. Two Epix and two 935s. I looked at Garmin as the easy answer for my younger kids. The size is great and features are fine. The screen though is so incredibly dull it’s hard to see (almost impossible), and it causes a huge rash. We swap from wrist to wrist and wash and dry. I’ve never experienced these problems with a Garmin product.

Has a family we wanted to start getting healthier together the marvel vivofit Jr 3 is perfect for this. It mixes an active mindset with fun games and fun goals that you can create the kids love to have competitions with each other to see who can get the most active minutes steps and it's great for bedtime cuz then you can trick them by seeing who can get the most sleep that way they go to bed earlier!

My son loves it.
I’m a little bummed because the step and exercise counts don’t seem accurate. That may be because the watch is a little loose on my son (even on the tightest setting. Also, I would like it more if I could change the step and exercise goals. It is also annoying that the watch features are all controlled by one button. You make selections based on how long you hold the button. It’s tricky to use.
