Great Educational Level Laptop
Bought two of these for my daughters to use for school/college and am very pleased. The build quality is great and the touchscreen very nice. I was slightly concerned on making a compromise on processing power, but they appear to be more than adequate for what they need them for - they are not gamers, although they do run some older games (e.g. Sims) absolutely fine.

Great laptop for everyday use
I’ve been using the HP Pavilion x360 14-ek1004na Convertible Laptop for a little while now, and it has exceeded my expectations in several ways. First and foremost, the build quality is impressive. The convertible design is incredibly versatile, allowing me to switch seamlessly between laptop and tablet modes, which is perfect for both work and entertainment.
The performance of the Intel Core™ i3 processor is surprisingly robust. It’s handled all my daily tasks with ease, from browsing the web and streaming videos to working on documents and light photo editing. The speed and responsiveness are impressive for a laptop at this price point.
The display quality is another highlight. The 14-inch touchscreen is bright, vibrant, and very responsive to touch. The colors are vivid, making it great for watching movies or working on creative projects. I also appreciate the inclusion of a stylus, which has been a great tool for note-taking and drawing.
Battery life is decent, giving me a solid day of use on a single charge, depending on my activities. The audio quality is good as well, with clear sound that’s more than adequate for video calls and media consumption.

Fine but a few suggestions of tweaks
In general, fine.
It took a week longer to arrive than the website estimated.
The keyboard layout isn’t quite what I expected. I expected two Ctrl keys, one on each side. I have used Powertoys to adapt accordingly.
I had to enter BIOS to set the fn keys the way I want. It would have been nice to have instructions at the start about how to do that.

Battery life tested by HP using continuous FHD video playback, 1080p (1920x1080) resolution, 150 nits brightness, system audio level at 17% as image default, player audio level at 100%, played full-screen from local storage, headphone attached or through speaker (if no audio jack port), wireless on but not connected. Actual battery life will vary depending on configuration, and maximum capacity will naturally decrease with time and usage.
