Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great portable storage option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re like me, you usually run out of storage space on your electronics. WDs My passport is a game changer. Not only was I able to free up space on my computer, but I was able to easily transfer larger files from my computer to a friends. I’ve read others reviews before trying this product myself and I can vouch for the positive ones. I’ll also add that nothing is perfect and there will be issues time to time, but it sounds like the company is more than willing to help out in those situations. My only complaint is the packaging is not the best and could be improved as the box was a little ripped up when I received it through the mail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drive failed Unfortunately this product failed on me within the first month I used it. My PC could no longer recognize the drive and I could not access my files. Ended up costing me a lot of money to get a professional data recovery done by a local shop, very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Brand new 4T My Passport plugged into my PC, when Im trying to start the automatic back up from the App, displays the message, that computer does not "see" the drive. Yet, I was able to save some files on this drive by simply copying them into this drive. And the manual is nowhere to be found. Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Downloaded data into it and then it crashed! I downloaded up to 600 GB in it painstakingly and suddenly it crashed and I lost all that data. It doesn't even show up as a drive in any computer I tried ever since. The light is on but nothing is to be found!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Mac I have sent this Hard Drive back twice under warrantee, I am going to use it as a paperweight and I just figure that either the volume is made for a PC. I used Disk Utility and I cannot mount it. It failed after a week, the last one had clicking sounds and was a bit better at gaining within 2 weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My passport is great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had it for a month and haven’t had any issues. This is my 2nd WD portable hard drive. Easy to set up, just plug in and go! I have the older one from years ago but it is pretty full with pictures, so I got another and it works great, quickly, and efficiently. No discs or anything confusing. Make your folders and drag and drop! It is not super light, feels nice!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute crap This product failed on me. Multiple times it didn't eject properly. Then suddenly, it wouldn't mount! I have lost all my data on something that was meant to be a back up of that data. Never buy this product, ever! Does not deserve one star!

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order.
