Much better specs than expected
Really happy with this frame and probably would have purchased sooner if more accurate info was available online…so I’m passing it forward with this review.
Yes, it can be used in either Portrait or Landscape orientation. The frame auto rotates any images that are in the ‘other’ orientation and auto fills the frame ‘but’ you have the option to fit the image to frame in which case it subtly blurs the space that it has no picture to fill it with (much like you see when watching a phone video that’s been held in portrait mode on YouTube or the like).
Yes, it does have on board storage – box says 16GB, app says 12GB usable. We currently have 830 photos loaded which have taken up less than half a GB.
Yes, you can use the Frameo app and connect with friends to allow them to send photos to the frame.
Needs constant power – isn’t rechargeable. And no, can’t be mounted on the wall.
Quality is very good, large array of display settings and you can swipe through the images ‘on the fly’.
Will be buying a second frame to be in dedicated portrait mode.

Such a cool digital frame. This was a gift for my mum for her birthday to replace the one I got her about 8 years ago. Safe to say the technology has come a long way! Perfect size, great clear pictures, super user friendly. Download the app and you're ready to start sharing pictures and videos with your frame. Multiple people can download the app and share photos. Large internal memory. All touch screen. Very happy with this purchase!

Love this smart frame, which is connected to the Frameo app. Initially got this as a gift but have since purchased one as a gift to family. The frameo app lets multiple users send photos to the frame, anywhere in the world - so great for grandparents and parents with kids and grandkids around the world.

Great frame. Takes a mini SD not normal SD should probably have read the fine print on that but very easy to set up and get working. Awesome picture quality, easy to send from iPhone
