Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice crisp fridge freezer, 2 too many doors. This fridge freezer was the right size for our kitchen that allowed us to downsize from a separate fridge and freezer. We would have preferred that it was a side by side, but that doesn't seem to be a thing in this size, you have to need to feed a football team. The unit is very crisp with nice large door holders and has needed us to get used to packing the fridge a little differently. Overall we are very happy with our first couple if weeks with our new fridge/freezer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fridge, so far We only purchased this fridge recently, so it’s too early to make a definitive rating. However, so far no problems. The layout could be better, such as a bit more freezer space and a single crisper (for long vegetables), but this is likely to be a personal choice. Having no water dispenser is great (waste of internal space). Time will tell whether the rubber seals last.

We saw this LG model and had to have it. Its much bigger than the old westinghouse we had and fits more into our lifestyle. Thanks LG for making this possible.

The shelves insides are a bit tricky to move around / bring out in order to change height position. They hit the edge of the doors causing dings/scratches. Satisfied overall and hopefully it would last for at least 10 years...

Beautiful layout, gorgeous two door freezer (so over big freezer drawers!) Beeps if doors not closed properly. We're thrilled to bits with this fridge, had it just over a week now.

Questions & Answers

Hi, as per the above question. Manufacturer actually says a cavity width of 850 for this fridge. It's a selling point. As to the depth of cavity. Your suggestion of 780 has to be way way off. Nobody has a kitchen cupboard depth of that. Please supply.

Hi Sheryn, we have checked again with the supplier and our appliance specialists, and they have confirmed again, 50mm clearance at the back of the fridge is recommended for adequate ventilation. Too small of a distance from adjacent items may result in the degradation of freezing capability and increased electricity costs. This does mean the fridge may jut out slightly from the cavity, but this does allow for the doors to open freely as well. We hope this provides some clarity.

What size cavity does this fridge need. 850 wide (fridge 835), but what depth. Specs say that it's 735 deep.

Hi Sheryn. The manufacturer suggests allowing over 50 mm of clearance between the back of the appliance and any walls when installing the appliance. This would mean the space needs to be 1837mm (Height) x 885mm (Width) x 780mm (Depth). We trust this helps with your query
