Rated 4 out of 5 by from Continuous improvement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so happy with a previous refrigerator, bought many years ago, plus two washing machines bought over time, that my regard for the F& P brand is very high. In my new refrigerator, a bottom - mount, I am impressed by innovations such as the adjustable humidity in the vegetable drawers, improved interior lighting and quieter operation. Certainly, foods keep better for longer, especially in the vegetable drawers. It is pleasing to have such confidence in F&P that It is certainly my go-to brand when I need to replace an ageing appliance.

I was very pleased with the information given on reguler basis as to the new Fridges arrival, and the two guys that brought the new fridge, unpacked and put it to place. The new fridge is working well and we are very pleased with the new purchase.

However buyer beware, we have replaced an old F&P fridge/freezer of the same capacity yet were unable to fit the same volume of goods in the freezer compartment that we could in our older model. My wife was not happy.

It is still running and works perfectly and quietly. The new model has several changes which are NOT improvements. 1. There are no handles so it is impossible to avoid fingermarks on the door. 2. The moveable shelves in the door are too deep (in height) so there is no easy way to store a standard 1.5 litre soft drink bottle in the door. 3. The previous model had a wire wine bottle shelf. The new model has small trays for bottles to sit on. They are nowhere near as convenient. 4. The new model has no egg rack. In addition, the new model rattles noisily when it is on the cooling cycle. The rattle is inside the back panel and not caused by the shelves or contents. We have had a Fisher and Paykel service person come and take out and check behind the back panels. The unit is a little quieter but nowhere near as quiet as the old model.

How much space do you need at the sides and top?

Great question Annie! According to the instructions from Fisher & Paykel, you will need to allow more than 20mm of clearance on each side, a minimum of 30mm at the rear, and at least 50mm space above the unit for adequate ventilation support for this model. Trust this helps! ^CO.

Can this fridge door swing in either direction?
