Tested at Ocean Wise Plastics Lab on the WW90T734DWH model (using Synthetic cycle, approximately 2kg load of synthetic textile laundry) comparing the amount of microfiber released with and without the Less Microfiber™ Filter installed. The amount is calculated by filtering drain water through a 50um filter.

Drain pump dimension needs to be within 20~22mm for installation. (Using the adaptor included, filter can be installed to washing machines with 19~26mm dimension drain pumps as well.) Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glad to be putting less plastic into our waterways Happy that this filter exists. One star off mainly because it took a bit of fiddling around to get it how it needs to be. I have a new Samsung washing machine and did require the hose adapter included in the box with the filter to ensure there were no leaks when connecting the washing machine outlet hose onto the inlet pipe on the filter. (Machine hose was a bit wider in diameter than the inlet pipe.) As someone who's pretty comfortable following instruction manuals, this one was straightforward to follow. Took a couple of gos but very happy with the filter now that everything is properly in place. It'd be nice if in the future all machines had microfibre filters built-in.

We already have a O3 Pure Professional Ozone Eco Laundry Washer System hooked up to our washing machine. Is there a way to integrate this filter system so that the water passes through both units?

Thanks for your question. It might be possible. It looks like the O3 Pure System is a cold water input water line, while the Samsung FT-MF filter is an output filter for waste wash water to filter through the output drain hose. This should not pose an issue, provided you have the space. Trust this helps! ^CO

How can I install it on my LG front loader? Are there replacement filters available?

Thanks for your question. These can be used in front load washing machines exclusively and are optimised for Samsung front load washing machines. If using on other brands, draining times may increase, and you may need to refer to install instructions for the filter unit and washer unit when installing. Filters do not need replacing, only emptying. Trust this helps! ^CO

What is the pressure rating, and what is the price of replacement filter cartridges?

Thanks for your question. There is no pressure rating requirement though you will need a drainage hose diameter of 20 ~ 22mm. These can be used in front load washing machines exclusively and are optimised for Samsung front load washing machines. Filters do not need replacing, only emptying. Trust this helps! ^CO
