Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simplistic but excellent… [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This player was an easy and quick setup that took ten minutes at the most. After setting it up properly I played many of my go-to 4K UHD BluRay discs w/ ease and SUPERB results. Each film looking noticeably better than they ever did on my Xbox One S. This player is simplistic in the way it doesn’t have all the extra “bonuses” you already have on your TV (streaming apps and so forth). That’s fine and seriously not a problem in the slightest.

The feature is nice and easy to operate by my kids and they loved it straight away. The wifi quick connection and compatibility of operate with TV remoter is another surprise to me. Only issue to me is that no hdmi cable comes with it because I am not sure whether my existing cable support 4K feature. Overall, it’s a money for value purchase and hope I can discover more surprising moments with it.

Squishy rubber buttons, that seem unsure whether or not they’ll work. I thought “well, let’s try new batteries”. No different. Apple cops some flack for their remote, but it is SO MUCH BETTER than this. Don’t get me wrong, it plays disks acceptably well, but again the responsiveness of the system is old fashioned and sluggish, when compared to me Apple TV Streaming box.

What do you mean by "Region Locked"? Will it play DVDs from all regions?

Thanks for your question Jack. No, this unit is locked to Region B, which means it can play content from Europe, Africa, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand. Hope this helps.
