Can you place the massager on the ground with nodules facing up so your cat can massage itself

Thanks for your question. These are primarily designed for hand held use. It is possible, it does fall outside normal use as you would need to ensure you have adequate support around the unit to apply the right amount of pressure, and maintain balance, without damaging the device. We would not recommend doing so to avoid any potential warranty issues. Trust this helps! ^CO
