Netgear AX1800 Router Review
About a year ago, I upgraded my internet due to having so many wireless devices included game systems and TV Streaming devices. Sadly, I wasn’t getting the results I expected. I eventually realized that even though the router I had was top of the line when I got it, after 7 years, the thing was getting pretty old and I was way over due for a new one. The Netgear AX1800 was exactly what I needed. I no longer had disconnect and then reconnect to get a decent signal on my iPad or Roku. I just turn them on and they just work. No more crashes. No more lag. Everything works like they are supposed to. I am very happy with my investment, and my family is as well.

Best VPN Stabilized Wifi
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wifi router has saved my life! I work from home full time and constantly had my VPN drop during the workday. I was forced to use a Ethernet which looks kinda clunky that I would roll it out to connect in the morning and roll it back to disconnect. I had someone tel me that the problem with the VPN not being stabile is my wifi router which I was currently renting from my internet provider! When I did my research on what wifi router to have and this one had the best review plus it was affordable. Now, I’m loving the wifi and it’s stronger than ever!! This is worth it if you work from home!

New wifi router works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this router to replace a Netgear modem/router that is about 3.5 years old. The old router was losing signal strength- I think it was just starting to go out. I am not techy so I bought this one thinking it was similar, but upon installation I realized I needed an additional modem to go with this router. I purchased the Netflix CM700 modem to use with my new router. Set up took a while- again, I'm not techy so I wasn't sure what to do, but I eventually figured everything out. The signal strength is much better now, and I don't have to rent equipment from a greedy cable company! :)

NETGEAR 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router (RAX20)
I had to upgrade my home network due to the additional load that is now required with everyone at home. In order to handle various streaming services, on line school for three children and two professionals with heavy data transfers working from home this router has allowed me to segregate wi fi networks to manage load, improve security and limit access for the children who like to abuse their new found freedom. In addition to the new Netgear cable modem the home network is doing everything that is asked of it. In addition, the easy to use Nighthawk app allows me to easily manage the network. Thus far, this is everything I could have asked for with a very friendly price.

Great router
This router is fantastic. Before with the standard modem provided by the internet company, I had a “strong” signal upstairs in the house. After installing this Netgear router and hardwiring it with a cable leading upstairs, my computer is lightning fast with a very strong connection. No more lag, low ping, and barely any latency for gaming. Usually I got around 280mbs now I’m pushing 380 to 480mbs (which is was I pay for). The Nighthawk app has run great so far with no issues and it’s very easy to monitor your WiFi and all devices connected to it. Overall it was a fantastic buy and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their home WiFi.

Nice router but....
This router was very easy to setup. It worked great straight out of the box. It is stupid fast.
But, when I enable the smart connect it disables my wifi. I was on hold for 1.5hrs and gave up. I then went to the community......

Yes I got nowhere. uuuggghhh
Yes I know I can uncheck the box and not use smart connect but that is not the point.

Needed wifi in order to set up the router...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TLDR: Set up was long and obnoxious, but after that, the router works perfectly!
Once we got the router set up, it was great. Everything works smoothly, and the interface for managing our internet/wifi usage has been really easy to use. However, we had to have internet in order to set up the wifi. It took 45 minutes to set up the router, because we had to find a device that could download the Nighthawk app to connect the router to everything. It seems sort of ridiculous. There was also a pretty significant firmware update that had to happen before the router would function.

Wifi Router and Netgear Armor Review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased and installed this Wifi Router. The routers speeds are absolutely fantastic and have so far functioned with no interruption (my last cable company wifi router would get interrupted and I would have to reset it fairly often). The install process takes a little bit but is very easy to do. I downloaded and paid for their Netgear Armor product to go with the Wifi router and it is also a great product that protects my wifi router, my network, and my cell phone. I would highly recommend purchasing this wifi router and subsequent Netgear Armor product to protect it.
