Rated 1 out of 5 by from A pain to use: unwieldy and heavy Buyer beware: this vacuum is heavy, bulky, and unwieldy. Frankly, it’s a pain to use and I hate it. Bought it when battery of my great V8 died from a combination of cat fur and desert dust. Figured that a newer and bigger model must be better, right? Perhaps it is. It certainly has more bells and whistles. But it’s so heavy and unwieldy to maneuver that I’m not using it at all, so what’s the point? I should’ve returned it after the first try, but it was so difficult to unpack that the thought of packing it all back up and returning it just was too much. Be very sure you want to lift and push this machine around if you purchase it. I should’ve stuck with my V8.

It was a total surprise from my daughter and I couldn’t be happier…it’s not only super easy to charge and use…the charge runs at full power until it’s time to recharge. It only takes a few seconds to empty the canister of dust and I don’t have to touch anything dirty or gross. I can literally tell that there’s a lot less dust lint and hair in our house. (Two people with long hair and two cats) The way it moves to go under and around most things and no cord…it’s already saved me so much time and energy in less than a month!!! I immediately donated my old vacuum and my tools for dusting the ceiling, etc because they are no longer needed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest vacuum machine ever! My roommate owns the Dyson V10, she bought this about 3-4 years ago and really loves it. She encouraged me to try it a few times, and yes it’s amazing. For many years I’ve been using a 50+ year old Kirby Classic which had belonged to my grandmother, nothing else really came close to the old Kirby, that is until I tried out my roommate’s Dyson. I thought when the Kirby vacuum dies I’m going to buy a Dyson. Well 2 weeks ago the motor froze up, the Kirby had a great life 😂. Within 1 hour I ordered a Dyson V11 online @dyson. It has been with me for over a week and still it’s picking up dirt and dust that the Kirby left behind. Highly recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worst model so far I loved my Dyson V8 so much but wore it out after a couple of years, went with the V11 and it didn't even last a year. I do vacuum daily due to having pets but 6 months and it was showing signs of wear!?! I also have the roller ball Dyson and its still holding up, just so terribly bulky. I just ordered the Dyson absolute, if this doesn't hold up as well as the V8 I guess ill have to cut my ties with Dyson, not because they are not great vacuums just the cost versus life of product is not equal. Also, changing the dirt removal from bottom side to where the wand extends is a real dumb design. My favorite thing with the 8 model is the simplicity of emptying of the canister.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight but powerful cordless option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was incredibly easy to set up including the docking station. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. As for performance, it worked better than I was expecting against our dog fur. Our previous vacuum always got tangled due to the fur so it was neat to see the difference due to the anti-tangle screw shape. Being petite, I also loved that it is cordless and lightweight which makes it very easy for me to carry up the stairs. My dogs also loved that is wasn't as loud as our prior machine. Have yet to test how it stands up to consistent vacuuming of fur over time but so far so good!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad So I am a HUGE Dyson fan! I have had my fair share of vacuums and dyson is by far top rank!However, I will say I’m slightly disappointed in this vacuum. I really wish it was more powerful. Now… in its defense… it’s lightweight, it’s easy to use, it’s great for vacuuming hair off furniture, it dumps easy, it’s pretty quiet. It ABSOLUTELY has its pluses!! I just wish it was in the boost mode or higher. Now… I realize it’s a battery pack and maybe the technology just isn’t there yet to be that way. I’m no expert in that department but I am an expert in using a vacuum. ( I vacuum 2-3x per day) overall, I think it’s a good vacuum for the size and can’t wait for Dyson to make an even better one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I am more than happy with this vacuum. It is so much better than my old corded Dyson (That I almost worshiped)! It is much more handy for a quick vacuum up before guests arrive, before bed, small spills. The instructions on how to empty the canister could be made clearer and the I wish the charger base had one more attachment receptacle. The unit comes with four accessories. With one accessory on the unit and two on the base, there is still one I haven't determined a place for that would still handy to the unit. Would I recommend this vacuum? Darn sure will! I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very well designed product This Dyson is excellent, we have a lab/husky that sheds constantly and a mixture of vacuum's to try and cope with the endless hair. I have an iRobot that is used daily but obviously can't tackle the stairs. The house is a mix of hardwood and carpet and this is where the V11 excels, it tackles the dog hair easily on all surfaces and the benefit of not having a cord is so convenient. The panel displays run time, charge etc and the addition of the charger/holder which happens to fit nicely in my tall kitchen cupboard that has a built in outlet makes for a very tidy outfit. I am super impressed with the Dyson, it's a very well executed vacuum for any home.
