Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product After using the Dyson G1 Wash for a month, I can confidently say that I’m happy with the overall performance. One of my favorite features is the clear dirt tank—it’s satisfying to see exactly what’s being cleaned up, and it serves as a great visual aid to track progress. The device is lightweight and easy to maneuver, making cleaning less of a chore. However, I did notice that the floors could be left a bit dryer after use; they tend to stay slightly damp, which isn’t ideal for quick drying. Another downside is the base—it feels a bit flimsy. Occasionally, while mopping, I end up lifting the base along with the mop, which can be a little frustrating. Overall, it’s an effective cleaner with a few minor drawbacks that could use some improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than anticipated, outstanding buy. I’ve had the Dyson WashG1 for a couple of weeks. The whole of my downstairs is laid to cement tile in a Victorian tile. This means I have a significant amount of grout lines covering a huge area equivalent of 5 rooms. I have four dogs and ongoing garden works. It’s currently a lot of work. My G1 covers the whole area in just under 2 tanks of water. I do enjoy the debris tray between each refill. I am able to do the whole area in under 30 mins without an huge effort or need to rush. It’s easy to use and leaves the floors next to dry. This is huge for me as I can’t prevent the dogs from wandering over all the cleaned areas and spreading more little footprints. If you need your floors to dry quickly and have more difficult floor surface then this was an outstanding buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing The wet floor cleaner is not very manoeuvrable in the bathroom or round the skirting boards in the kitchen. If you lift the handle to the vertical position to try to fit into a small space, the cleaner switches itself off (very frustrating). It doesn’t really clean up to the edges of walls. It’s is great on a large open expanse of floor, I very much liked the idea of not having to sweep or vacuum first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So many warnings within 2 short uses! My Dyson G1 cleaned really well the first time I used it for 30 minutes! It took a lot of surface dirt away and I was really pleased with my purchase. But then, I used it for another 30 minutes a few days later and all I got was clean out and rinse the debris tray warnings and empty the dirty water tank warnings repeatedly. I emptied both many times over even though both were either fully clean or nearly clean and my G1 kept coming back with the same requests for assistance. I have since read, online, of many other users with the same problems so realise my G1 fails could be unavoidable for all buyers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good investment [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have different types of tiles in my home. Some are rough and some smooth. I found the Wash G1 worked very well on the smooth tiles. It leaves a little moisture on the tiles which evaporates without leaving streaks for the most part. The rough tiles were a bit more challenging and I noticed it didn't leave them as clean as I would like, however, it did make the process of cleaning a much easier exercise for me. I highly recommend this machine. On a side note, I have pets at home, and struggled with cleaning the rollers with all the pet hair getting stuck in them. It is best to vacuum before washing the floors in this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transformative Cleaning Experience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the G1Wash now for a few months. While the initial cost may seem steep vs. other traditional methods ( mop & bucket, wipes) the G1Wash proves its value over time. The water efficiency is a massive standout feature for me, I am increasingly conscious of water usage in our busy house for only 280ml to clean the entire house vs. previously using litres of water that also needed to be boiled up saves on all fronts. One of the most significant advantages is the hygiene level it maintains. The G1Wash not only cleans but also extracts dirt effectively. The finish dries faster and no streaks. The most satisfying aspect of usage is watching the water go from clear to brown. Also the litmus test for me is that the base of my kids white school socks are still white after playing in the house. Worth every penny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Maneuverability! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The products glides and clean pretty well once it starts. It emits just enough water to make wet cleaning effective, without too much water trail behind. The product maneuvers very well around corners and under tables. The ease to maintain and wash was unexpected. Few parts to wash and easy to remove and place them back. The downside is the weight of the machine when it is full. Otherwise, all is good!

We bought this several weeks ago when it was first released which was a little risky without many review or been out for long to really assess. We were swayed to this model as another well known brand seemed to have a consistent theme of battery issues. We have taken a punt on Dyson already having perfected their battery technology with having sold the vacuum cleaners etc for some years now. We are very pleased with the performance of this Dyson WashG1™ wet floor cleaner as it has shown vacuuming alone or in combination with mop and bucket there is still dirt and "things" picked up by this new cleaner. Almost embarrassing what extra is being caught in the filter section near the rollers when using it on our timber floorboards. Also the ease of cleaning the unit and it's self cleaning function seems a positive over the other companies unit. Hoping we are still as happy with the Dyson WashG1™ wet floor cleaner in years to come.

Is this safe in a concrete floor

Thanks for your question. This hard floor cleaner is ideal for tiles, vinyl, laminate and sealed wooden floors in your kitchen, dining area, bathrooms and hallways. This is not suitable for concrete. Hope this helps!
