Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy, clean and effortless [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always found sifting flours a nuisance - messy and tiresome - until now! Love my scales and sifter. Just makes baking so much cleaner, quicker and easier overall. There can be some slight annoyance with removing and replacing the attachment if you need to add different ingredients, scrape the bowl etc but its a small price to pay for the indulgence of having something do the sifting for you. Not only do you not have to sift but you then also have time to do other things whilst the sifting is happening. Particularly good for older hands when using a spring based contraption can be difficult.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not efficient for its price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item earlier this month and have already used it three times. Unfortunately, this item doesn't help save time at all. Firstly, the cup is quite small and can't hold more than 400g of flour. Secondly, the sifting speed is slow due to the very small sifter component. Thirdly, and most importantly, cleaning it (which is necessary after each use to prevent flour from getting stuck inside) requires dismantling it into numerous small parts. Due to their construction, you can't simply wipe it dry, you have to wait up to 24 hours for all the parts to completely dry out. Obviously, they must be absolutely dry before you can use it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saves my hands! I’ve used this twice now. First time I mustn’t have done it up tight enough and almost had a major disaster. Just finished using it for the second time and it was great! Obviously you can sift huge amounts at once but I just sifted 2.5 cups of flour and 3/4 cup of icing sugar with ease. Takes a little while but I now no longer have aching hands (I’ve had surgery so sifting was always a very painful task). Well worth it if you hate sifting!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not reliable The tub at the top can fit nothing more than about 1 cup 1/2, while I was using it, the vibration must have loosened the screw and all the almond flour I had in there went all over the floor. Also the sifter gets clogged so as you have to actually stop several times, pull it apart and scrape it, then put it back together and continue. Also the whole thing feels flimsy

Well for start there is no mess at all. Before I would have flour all over the bench top, floor, me. LoL. Now nothing. To be able to use this from my wheelchair is unbelievable, so easy. Just one thing.... don't throw the box out that the sifter and scale comes in. It could be a grievance as you want to look after your investment. I've now made a shelf ready for my next attachment. Please keep the quality going kitchenaid. Absolutely stand behind your product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Accurate measuring which is great for small measur Bought this a few weeks ago, used only once so far. When the flour comes down the spout it does go everywhere not into the large bowl. Will have to think how to modify the sifter, maybe turn the spout around into another bowl.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love using the sifter and use it at least once a week when baking cookies….. while it’s sifting away I can get other ingredients ready which is a real time saver! The scales are really accurate and I use them all the time even without the sifter. I am so happy I bought this attachment as it has really added to my enjoyment of baking!
