Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid choice! This is an excellent and very solid stand mixer and I'm so happy with my choice. The two bowls and the attachments that come with it are enough to get one started with making cakes and lots of other goodies. I made my first cake within days of purchase and found that having the two bowls meant that I could mix the basic ingredients in the large bowl with the flex edge beater and then use the smaller bowl and the whisk attachment to beat the egg whites. Having a handle on the big bowl makes pouring the mix into the cake tin so much easier. This mixer is the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been longing for a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for years and since receiving it I have been thrilled with its performance! My doughs, meringues, cakes, and muffins are all perfect. I love that I can now leave the mixer on while I prepare the next ingredient to add or another dish altogether - it feels like a 'handsfree' way to cook! Another revelation was shredding chicken breast in it with the dough hook - after cooking the chicken breasts I just place them in the mixer for a few minutes on low and have perfectly shredded chicken for salads, sandwiches or anything else!! Would love to try some of the additional attachments to expand my cooking and KitchenAid experience!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylish and sturdy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this stand mixer after having it on my wish list for quite some time. It was to replace an existing old mixer by another brand. The first time I went to use it the whisk beater got stuck and I wasn't able to remove it. It had to be taken in for service and I was told the whisk beater itself was the wrong size for my mixer. As a result the beater shaft has been damaged and needs to be replaced. Very disappointing given this was the first time I used the mixer. I am waiting for the mixer to be fixed and a replacement wire whisk to be sent. This aside when I was beating the eggs and sugar for the Torta Caprese I made it did a great job. Hopefully I wont have any other issues when the mixer is repaired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer was given to me for my birthday earlier this year after eyeing it off at the shops for the longest time. I love the ease of use, although heavy, it withstands the strongest whip and creates the smoothest batter. The strong and sturdy frame ensures it will remain in one spot while preparing and the easy to use levers makes it easy to slip the bowls in and out and add the mixing attachments as I need to. I can't wait to try the other attachments.

What a great decision, it is a solid high quality piece of equipment which looks great on the bench top. It also performs perfectly. The ice cream making accessory is brilliant and I have been experimenting with different ice cream flavours. No more store bought from now on. If you are in the market for a mixer this one is highly recommended by us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love my Kitchenaid [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kenwood mixmaster literally blew up just as I was starting my Christmas baking, so I researched best mixmaster and within an hour had investigated, sourced, bought, and returned home with my KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. I absolutely love it. I wish my Kenwood had blown up sooner !!! The bowl is great with the handle and perfect shape for easy handling, and with the flex edge beater it mixes everything so well !! Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had the mixer for a month or so and so far we have put it through its paces and it has performed wonderfully. Made a bread, several cakes and a Japanese cheesecake. Each time the mixer performed beautifully and the best part - It is quiet!! The old mixer we had was quite noisy so this is a welcome change. :-) The mixer's robust design is not matched by any other we looked at . Well done KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d been wanting this stand mixer for a while but wasn’t sure how often I’d really use it - turns out the answer is A LOT! It halves the time to whip up a cake or batch of biscuits (which I’m now really enjoying when friends come over etc), and I’m using it for doughs, to shred poached chicken for salads or sandwiches, or slow-cooked beef for tacos… even mince koftas and mixed up some home made dog food!
