Description

Flaunting a patented vacuum packaging system, FoodSaver's Lock & Seal Vacuum Sealer locks out air and keeps food fresh for up to five times longer! Easy to operate, this rolling machine creates a seal with its one-touch locking lever and one-touch Vacuum Seal button controls. It seamlessly works with specially designed FoodSaver containers* and vacuum zipper bags, letting you store meals, bread, and snacks conveniently.

Comes with an accessory port attachment to vacuum seal foodsafe ziplock bags ( 5 supplied with product) and storage containers ( purchased separately) Purchased to replace an older sealer of a different brand. Works well, Although vacuum is slow while vac sealing, and it can be a little tricky to get bag into place. It has a removable tray for cleaning should some produce ooze out. Quickly vacuums the ziplock bags. They are a great addition.

I’m so surprised and appalled by how much food I used to throw out because it had gone off. My food truly does last SO much longer and I’m freezing so much now. Easy and quick to use although next time I’d get a machine that stores and cuts the rolls so I don’t have to use scissors

I like to freeze meat - I tend to buy bulk as I now use online shopping and home delivery. I also freeze meals from my slow cooker. So convenient and no wastage. It means that on some nights I can give the 'cook' the night off. I wonder how I did without it. I highly recommend them.

Mostly use it to freeze meat. Also use the adapter to vac seal containers which am loving because I can make my work salads on the weekends and they remain perfectly fresh throughout the week.

Can you please explain why the vaccum doesnt work on my machine. It is about 2 years old and not over used,the seal is ok

Hi there. The machine can stop working when there's a gap in the seal, often caused by dirty or damaged upper and lower gaskets, a clogged vacuum channel, or an improperly positioned bag. To fix it, clean the gaskets and sealing strip, ensure the bag isn't overfilled or positioned incorrectly, and check the vacuum channel and drip tray for blockages. If this does not help, please contact the store you purchased from as they have all your details and warranty information on file. We trust this helps
