Never did such a simple consumer product bring me so much pleasure as this Delonghi Nespresso Essenza Mini Solo Coffee Machine. I've had one at home for several months and I love it so much I just purchased a second one for my desk at the office. The slim yet sturdy design allows it to neatly slot in anywhere (including an office cubicle), operation is super simple, and more to the point it produces the perfect long black every single time. Go ahead and buy this little marvel - you won't be sorry!

Don't let the mini fool you it is better (in my opinion) than the larger one that takes up more space and there's no need to have to put it away. It lives on my kitchen bench with my toaster and kettle and it's a great (little) machine. Does EXACLY what the bigger black one does but it's better ( cause it's mini ) My sister in law has the bigger black one and now wants mine If you like it buy it you won't be sorry but you will love it because it's a mini.

Very stylish, compact, light & easy to use. Considerably quiet compared to one at work. Love the gloss finish on this & the best thing is we can take on our travels in the caravan. Great service from Albany WA store & excellent back up help with videos on Nespresso website. Love it & very easy to use, thoroughly recommend!

Since I already had a milk frother, this Mini Solo unit which has a very small footprint in the kitchen is a very worthy replacement for my dearly departed capsule coffee maker of 7 years. Incredibly simple to use the Mini Solo makes a great 40mL Expresso or 110ml Lungo. Need even more volume? Simply press the button again to get an extra shot through the capsule already in place. Either way that's well and enough for a Duo, and for two people, without refilling the tank or emptying the capsule tray. So I think Mini Solo should really be called Mini Duo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size for a small kitchen great little compact machine as we dont have a big kitchen with big bench space, the size is perfect for us. The auto turn off unit after it has been used is also a blast which means you dont have to remember to turn the machine off. One down side is you need to get the right size of the cups otherwise it wont fit under the spout with the catcher on (you will need to remove the bottom catcher) but it was no fuzz for me so I am happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the cheapest, it’s excellent! One weird thing about the machine is that you can’t fit a full coffee mug under the spout when the drip tray is attached. This may be a Nespresso standard as they like you to use smaller mugs but it’s kind of annoying to have to swap your mug for the drip tray like a ninja. Bought this before Christmas and haven’t looked back. Got a cash back plus credit in the coffee store so that helped too. Loved the Nespresso welcome pack that came in the box - 14 flavours to try out. The water tank is a little small, only gets 3 Lungo coffees before a refill is needed, but the used-pod tray fits around the same so it’s a good time to do both. I’m not a milk-frothing person, so I don’t miss this feature at all. Overall, for the low price of the machine, I’m pretty happy with this purchase.

It's looks stylish, is compact, so doesn't take up much bench space and the water tank is bigger than I expected. Best of all, the coffee tastes so delicious. You don't even need to add milk, it's so creamy. It's a good machine for 1-2 people.

Will this fit a normal coffee mug under the spout? My old machine you could flip the drip tray up so could fit a coffee mug.

Thanks for your question Bridget. The Tray is removable to enable standard sized mugs to fit under the spout. A 12cm tall cup can fit under the spout when the drip tray is removed. Hope this helps!
