Rated 5 out of 5 by from De'Longhi Vacuum Coffee Cannister I am very impressed with this item. It actually keeps the coffee beans nice and fresh until I want to use them. Being a vacuum type of cannister it is the perfect item for keeping the freshness of the coffee beans from day one. Coffee made with these beans always taste as they were just being bought. It is also very easy to clean and reseal as you need to top up the coffee machine. I just wished they were made in the bigger size, instead of the 500g, as most coffee beans packets are around the 1kg size. A bit expensive to purchase if compared to other similar products, but if you are lucky enough to find it on special it is worth buying it instead of using some other airtight containers which might be too bulky.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed to maintain a vacuum seal I've only had this Vacuum Coffee Canister for less than 3 months, and it worked perfectly for the first month. I use it at least once a day and would leave it for 3-4 days, and it remained airtight. However, during the following month, the vacuum seal began to fail intermittently, and the lid was loose the next day. Currently, the seal won't even last a day, and I have to re-seal it at least twice a day to prevent the coffee beans from going stale.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just a heads up!! Good canister but I found that if I’m not using it for a couple of days, I need to check the vacuum pressure is still there. ( sometimes you have to give it a couple of extra pumps after a day or so to keep the vacuum)

But it seems that every time I check the lid (every few days or so), the vacuum seal was gone. No one has tampered it, so I think either the product is faulty, or it doesn’t work as well for the average consumer (1 coffee per day).
