Good sound, easy using
We love this sound box. We use it to her music or audio books espacially our children. The connection with smartphone is easy and smart. I like the sound. It is enough for a room with a few people in. Even the bass is also good by hearing music. The battery is strong enough for hearing music a few days. I would recommend the box for hearing music in a good quality for a good party (even outside) or using it for a lot hearing sessions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Charge Essential 2 is a budget friendly addition to the JBL Charge family .The speaker sounds good and loud for it's size ,its ipx7 rated for waterproofing, it has a powerbank that you can charge another device. It has basically the same specs as the other JBL Charge 5 the only real thing that is missing is no party boost so you can't connect multiple devices to this also there is no wifi.So if you don't need thease features ,i think this is a great by.Good sound and good battery life

Great Little Speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my speaker it looked similar to the other JBL speaker I have. I will tell you that it is not. The sound is amazing. You can hear this speaker from more than 5 houses away. We have used this speaker while doing yard work. We also take it on the golf cart when we are driving. The battery lasts for days, and it took about 4 hours to charge. This is a good speaker for the beach as it is waterproof. It can also be used for family picnics because the sound is loud enough for all to hear. We have also used it for small drive way get togethers. It is a little heavy so its not good for walking or hiking. When I go walking I use my JBL ear buds and my phone.

Your dope speaker is worthless if your phone dies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL ChargeEssential 2 speaker is excellent outdoors and can power your backyard/beach/pool party for hours. Even better, it will simultaneously power almost any device you plug into it, specifically the one that is supplying the music.
This comes in handy when when using the speaker in and outdoor environments without easy access to power. This speaker not only sounds great with enough bass to fill a backyard, it is also able to power the phone/tablet/(maybe)computer and keep it charged all day as well.

Great Bluetooth Speaker
I bought the JBL Charge Essential 2 about a month ago. Overall, I am very happy with that device as it suits to almost every space, and you can use it indoors, outdoors, and even if it is wet outside. I used it in several situations like woodworking, car repair, or being out with friends.
Let’s get to business.
The loudspeaker does what it should. The Bluetooth connectivity is amazing. Around 20 meters with my phone in the pocket it did not loose the connection. The pairing process is as with most other devices.
The design is great and simple you find the necessary buttons on top, the charging connector, and the USB slot for charging secondary devices, which you might have with you, is at the back behind a rubber sealed cover.
Most of the time you will connect it with your mobile, but it does not come with any app to adjust some settings. Within this price range it is ok for me but using your mobiles equalizer will also change your personal settings, which you maybe use with other devices.
As known from JBL devices the bass is a bit too much. I had to adjust the mid tones and high ones in the eq to get the best results out of it. The possible volume is impressive. You can turn it so loud, that speaking with someone is no longer possible 😉
As it comes with a power bank the device is quite heavy. It is like an extra bottle of water in your backpack.
Summarized I don´t regret buying this. It has its specific purpose. It gets 4 of 5 as the missing app and the sound performance does not meet my personal preferences. I think if you buy a device which comes with a mobile app, it is even more interesting.

Great Sound Quality and Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Charge Essential 2 is a great sized speaker to take with me on the go. It was easy to connect my phone to through bluetooth and had strong sound quality. Its battery lasted for hours and the sound was able to carry while we were outside at the park. I also like that I can use it to charge up my devices as well as I often find myself needing to charge up my phone. I have not tested out the waterproof features, but am looking forward to using it as the weather gets warmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect speaker to take on the go or to use for the house. Over the weekend i mostly used the speaker in my home for a small get together with friends and family. I was most impressed with the battery life and sound quality. Its very light so traveling with it especially to the beach or going for a hike will be easy. Another great feature im a huge fan of is the ability to charge your phone! With that being said i highly recommend looking into getting one for yourself.

Charge keeps it's charge...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not put this wonderful sounding JBL Charge speaker away sin e it arrived. I'll start with the charge on the Charge. Turned it on at 3:30 PM and it's 12:06 AM and it still has the 5 charge indicator lights.
Sound: You can actually hear the voices clearly in every song. The base is strong and clear, in other words, no vibration. Excellent JBL. You will be as satisfied, if not, better than me. I will recommend this speaker to my family and of course, my friends.
