2 OpenSwim Pro can be submerged in up to 2 meters of fresh water for up to 2 hours. OpenSwim Pro was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and has a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529. Water-proof is not a permanent condition and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear and tear.

4 Upload speed is approximately 15M/s, quantity calculated based on regular-quality songs at 4MB each. The results of simulation experiments are conducted by Shokz Lab for the intersection scene. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard Case and Software Hi, The earphones are great but they should come with a semi card case for travelling (that is how my fist pair snaped) and the charging cable should change to UBB-C or provide use with 2 cables like in the past. Also, it would be great to have some software available to create MP3 files

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Shokz Yet These are the most well built bone conduction headphones I have ever had and I have owned more than 4 pairs. These have no problem going from the pool to the road to the shower and back. You can make calls with them and I have not heard about anyone saying they can’t hear me clearly. The button design and conform has been improved. My one downside is that they made the charger incompatible with my previous ones. The main reason for this I think is that you can load music on to these. It is nice to have music where ever I am and not be dependent upon my phone or service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from +sound +waterproof -player I was excited to get the Open Swim Pro, hoping it would combine the best parts of the OpenSwim and OpenRun Pro, both of which I already own and use. This new model is more like a waterproof OpenRun Pro. Sound quality is improved, battery life seems about the same. It's nice to have 32GB of music instead of 4GB, but OpenSwim's user friendly folder navigation is missing from the OpenSwim Pro. That means it's almost impossible to navigate 32GB of music! The mobile app is nice, firmware upgrades are no longer a manual process. The mobile app includes some music navigation, but still doesn't have "next folder" that made OpenSwim usable even during a heavy workout. I'd consider this a much improved OpenRun Pro, but not a replacement for the OpenSwim.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Underwater quality not good As a competitive swimmer I expect these headphones to work great underwater or at least a few inches below the water but that is not the case. I am not sure if it is the Bluetooth signal but when I duck my head and push off the wall the audio cuts out, even when I am simply doing backstroke the audio cuts off. But when I resurface the audio comes back on again and it is annoying to listen to the audio cut on and off multiple tines when I am swimming for long distances. But out of the water it works great and there are no problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shokz hits it out of the park again! These are great headphones and I've been a Shokz fan for years; only headphones I will use. My only complaint is that in MP3 mode, I don't have more control over the volume level. When using in the office, or in any other quiet environment, I cannot get the MP3 volume level low enough. Especially at work, I want background music, but these are too loud; I have to go back to bluetooth mode, which is what I was trying to get away from when moving around the building. Other than the MP3 volume levels, I love the new OpenSwim Pros.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from sound not nearly as good as open swim i ended up going back to the open swim - much much better sound! the new bluetooth option is nice but the sound quality was way worse -- so that's a no go for me - the controls were a little harder to feel but i would have learned them if the sound quality had not gone backwards - even the mp3 and waves files sounded worse than the former open swim - i gladly am using the old version at 3 grams heavier -- we will see what the rest of the world says but sound is most important - not connectivity
