Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointed I have bought the headphones 3 days ago and with the first listening, the clickering started in the left headphone. I can't believe that this fast something like this happened. When I listen to the music all is fine, but with the podcasts it is unbearable. Even with every change of a song you hear such a strong clickering sound that it is truly uncomfortable. Strangely enough, nothing bad is with the phone calls, and it works even at a great distance. Bass is truly wonderful. I am very struck as I generally really like JBL and have their speaker and it's great quality for the price, but something like this hasn't happened even on cheaper products.

These are super well made and have minimal sound leakage, and sound just like my jbl car speakers which I love. My wife had some skull candy bluetooth headphones she had just bought the day before and we had to return them and buy her a pair of these because she wouldn't stop listening to mines. They sound clear, bass is deep but not muddy, but they are snug on my head. I have been working on loosening them up but its not easy with such great build quality. I stretch them and they go back to shape if i dont keep them stretched over night. So now I keep them on a big headed teddy hear when Im not using them.

Right away, one thing you have to do is download the app and play around with the acoustic settings to make them sound better or at least make them better suited for you depending on your liking, which is a plus. They are comfortable, light weight and don't fatigue your ears too much after wearing them for long periods of time. The battery on these is perfect. I went all week using them without having to charge them. I did use them for 2-3 hours a day for 7 days. Another great thing about these headphones is that they feel durable, and look great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped functioning in two weeks While they were working I was impressed with how they performed for their cost, sadly however the headphones stopped working shortly after. The left headphone completely stopped functioning and the right one was noticeably distorted. The headphones stayed within my home and were only used a handful of times. I own other JBL products and they function flawlessly. I am upset that I now have to shell more money out of pocket for what has to be a manufacturing flaw. Mine may just be an exception as others have commented on how much they enjoy them, but I cannot enjoy something that doesn't work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely wonderful! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I wanted from a headphones which doesn't have active noise cancellation. I know it sounds like a bad thing, but I don't like active noise cancellation headphones because they muffle the sound, it takes away the bass from the music. But these ones are wonderful, they are bit tight which provide wonderful passive noise cancellation environment. The sound is wonderful, it has clarity which one requires to watch a movie, it also has decent amount of bass to enjoy the music. Honestly, I love these headphones, and in it's way it is kinda perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality but they hurt after some hours If you want good headphones for a decent price they are the best choice in this category! I searched for many model from different brands but this model of JBL is definitely the best choice, great sound quality, the bass is awesome, the battery life surprised me (1 day and 1/2 of intense use), the design is gorgeous, the matte colour and the quality of the plastic makes this headphones look premium. I use them connected to my laptop and my phone at the same time, I can watch series and answer calls on my phone, they are useful but I would be more satisfied with this headphones if they didn't hurt my ears after hours using it because I use this headphones for travelling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best headphones I've ever owned! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had these headphones for two weeks, and I can't get enough of them! So many great features! The sound quality is out of this world. Download the JBL Headphone App, and you can set the equalizer to your preference. Or you can choose from the preset settings. The bass is phenomenal. Then on top of the typical JBL quality, you have easy access to your Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa while you are away from home. In less than a month we have a long plane trip that I am more looking forward to, I already have movies loaded to my tablet for the flight!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for a decent quality set of headphones I bought these headphones to replace my wired bose headphones and I have to say they do not disappoint. Reasonably priced, comfortable and stylish. There is no sound cancellation on these so maybe having them up full volume on a train carriage might upset your neighbour - but what do you expect for that great price! If you want a stylish decent priced pair of wireless headphones then go for these.

Good morning, Thank you for your question! If your TV has a 3.5mm headphone jack, just plug your wired headphones into it. If your TV doesn't have a 3.5mm jack but has RCA stereo outputs, get an RCA-to-3.5mm adapter and use your headphones that way. I hope this helps. So i have owned the 500bt for around 4 years now, but today i turned them on, connected them, tried listening but there was no sound, even though in the sound test it shows that the sound is working, how can I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out. We're here to help. Assuming that the JBL Tune 500BT was properly connected to Bluetooth, please try pairing it with a different device to see if the issue occurs, such as in a tablet, laptop, or smartphone. Also, please make sure to enable the media option on the Bluetooth settings of your device. If the issue continues, unpair or forget the headphones, then factory reset them by pressing the Volume + and Volume - simultaneously for 5-10 seconds. The headphones must be powered on, and make sure that Bluetooth is NOT on and connected to any device. When resetting, the LED will blink faster. If you're still not getting any sound from the headphones, please reach out to our Customer Support for further assistance.

What size aux jack? Will it be suitable for plugging into guitar amp?

Thank you for your question. The JBL Tune500 headphones use a 2.5mm jack for cabled connections, this cable terminates in a 3.5mm jack. In regards to attaching to a guitar amp, it depends on what you would like to do with the amp and headphones. My headphones will not connect fully. This happened suddenly, after I tried to turn them on again after I had been listening to a podcast using them. The light does not go from flashing (i.e. connecting) to solid (i.e. connected).

We're here to help with your JBL Tune 500BT. Please try connecting the headphones to other devices and use a different streaming application to see if the issue remains. You may also try to perform a factory reset by long pressing the volume + and volume - at the same time while the unit is on. Make sure that Bluetooth is NOT on and connected to any device. When resetting, LED will blink faster. Please remove/ forget the headphones' name on your source device first before connecting again. Would these headphones have good audio quality if i connect it to my electric guitar amp?

That will depend on the guitar amp since our JBL Tune 500 has a Dynamic frequency response range of 20Hz – 20kHz which does a good job of expressing the low, mid, and, high ranges quite nicely for any kind of rock music.
