Love my OLED switch
Great console, I have both the 2019 and the OLED switch and can confirm it is worth the money if you mainly play in handheld. The colours pop more vibrantly especially in games like Metroid Dread.
The slightly larger screen size helps too. The dock can also be updated.
Main difference between this model and the OG 2019 model:
* OLED display for better colour (only on handheld) if you only play in dock mode then it is the same 1080p output. Handheld is 720p.
* the OLED screen makes it easier to see when playing outdoors as it’s less reflective
* a huge improvement to the kickstand (it’s now more practical to use tabletop mode)
* upgraded from 32 to 64gb internal storage
* has a LAN (network connection) which makes downloading faster
* New dock is a bit wider and Roomier so it reduces scratching your switch screen when docked but best to grab a screen protector.
I picked this up during Sydney lockdown period and the online service was easy and click and collect at the store was done perfectly and safely with friendly staff.
Final review: it makes playing handheld more enjoyable.

Great new display on the OLED model
The OLED model definitely has a better display than the old switch -- it has a brighter, clearer image, and a thinner bezel. The additional storage is also a plus, as well as the white and black colour scheme only available with the OLED model. Did not think it would look this much better than the original.

Love it... almost.
My only complaint would be the new design to the dock. The back is no longer hinged and pops off instead. I prefer the hinge of the standard switch. I am constantly changing between standard and docked play so the hinged back flap makes the change over easier.

I bought this for my 10 y o son, who has wanted one for a long time. He’s one very happy kiddo now, he loves playing on his new Nintendo Switch. Some of the games for this thing are crazy expensive, but I was glad to discover there are also free ones.
