Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adequate for guitar tech with banjo sound. For the price it seems fine. The neck is obviously a guitar neck. Banjo necks are always flat. Guitar necks are curved across the face and so the nut and bridge settings are curved to match. The banjo came with a bridge that was flat. The bridge had also had the string indents scored unequally so it was very hard to play. I sanded down the bridge, re-scored the indents and it's better. I'm happy with it.

It does need a bit of a set-up, as any banjo would, as it is not at all like tuning a guitar. Once the bridge is in the correct position, the head is tightened, and strings played in, one has a bargain buy.
