I am a matte lip girl, and have always loved the MAC bullets, however I wanted to use something that wasn’t quite as drying and something a little softer so I purchased the Powder Kiss formula and I’m obsessed! It has a really light consistency, and because it is a Liquid Lipstick, it dries down matte as per the name, however is has a velvety finish on the lips whereby you don’t feel like they’re going to crack or peel. My lips glide across each other with ease, and the colour is stunning! I now choose the powder kiss formula over my bullet lippies. It has a lovely scent as MAC is known for, and it has a tapered doe foot applicator for easy application along the contour of the lips. I wear this formula all the time now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power kiss liquid This liquid lip colour from Mac cosmetics is really great. Firstly packaging is smart and convenient to carry without being too bulky, as well as being a nice shape. The doe foot application is perfect and allows for easy application. The lipcolour is really easy to apply to the lips allowing to contour and curve the lips. On application it feels so smooth and as the description very mousse like. It's quite an odd feeling but it's super soft. This dries down to a matte feel. I don't normally like matte lipsticks but this looks lovely. It looks so smooth and soft without sinking into my lip lines or fine lines on my lips. It also feels really light weight and when it dries down I can't feel it on my lips at all. These powder kiss lipstics don't feel uncomfortable and that's what I like about it. Even after use my lips aren't dry. I find it so comfortable to wear. Definitely a velvety feel. I love the colour range and I own a few colours. Mostly I own pinks and neutrals. The formula is quite pigmented in colour. They also fade very softly on the lips. No cracking or drying crusty in the corners or on the lips. It just fades so lovely. This is one matte lipstick I will continue to use and wear. Big fan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spiked Cocoa For Me!! Have found it! This is my 'holy grail' lip colour, as they say. Not only is it THE colour of my dreams it is also a matte - a hydrating matte that lasts really well and I can apply it with a quality soft tipped applicator. The way that I can outline my lips with this and actually looking like I've got it right, is quite a miracle because I am no MUA at all. Though I'd have loved to have been, I'm not so it's wonderful to find a product that ticks all of my boxes. Not the mention also that the formula happens to be from a brand chosen and used by MUA's around the world because of it's quality. Okay, that is it! I have found my dream lippy. Though I love some other colours and formulas I have purchased over the years, this lip colour is an all-in-one. Even the speciality packaging (mine is in a limited edition - of course it is! - glamourous and shiny - not the ordinary black lid that is in the photograph here in the listing - mine has some intricate metallic shiny print on the canister and the lid is completely metallic glossy. The box is also intricately designed with the matching glossy pink metallic colour with a gold metallic intricate desgin over the top of that! I really couldn't ask for anything more and if we could only ever own one lip colour - this would be mine. Spiked Cocoa is a neutral nudey brown that suits my lips to a T. Yes I'm an avid neutrals fan so I've had a lot to trial and error with over the years but here it is people!
