Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre with a luxury price tag. I received this as a promotion to try. They tell you just a few drops but as far as night serums go, you actually need a lot. It's much thicker than most. It's more like a gel. I felt slight burning on my forehead the first night I used it. I use another brand's retinol night serum and have never experienced a burn. So that was a bummer. The amount that you need to use for the price of this isn't really worth it to me. I've used it for a week and by morning, my face is super oily. Another thing I've never experienced. I can't say if it's related but I developed some forehead acne a couple days in. I'm usually a huge fan of this brand but this fell short for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I received this complimentary product for testing purposes. I am a fan of the quality of Estée Lauder cosmetics, so I was really looking forward to testing this product. I received enough for a one week trial. However, I don't know that I'll be able to use it again past the first try. The smell is AWFUL, almost like stale cigarettes, and unfortunately my sample didn't come with a dropper so I had to touch the opening of the bottle with my fingers which can be unhygienic. The serum soaked into the skin quickly without a tacky feeling that a lot of serums have, so that I liked, and the smell did disappear after a bit. However, my initial impression wasn't the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Allergic reaction Unfortunately, this product caused an allergic reaction and I am still having that reaction five days later. I only used it once and the reaction occurred within two hours of me using it. I have only had this happen one or two other times in my life and I'm disappointed because I thought that this product would be safe and easy to use. I know it's not oil because I've used oil products and continue to use oil products on my face and I've also used Estee Lauder make up before. So, it must be this product and that's disappointing considering the price (not that I paid for it). I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth The Price I received a week size sample of this complimentary to try through Influenster in exchange for this review and honestly I was not a fan of the product. This is my first time trying an Estée Lauder product and was really hoping I would end up liking it so I would have something to add to my nighttime routine. It made my face look really shiny and even after putting moisturizer on over it it was still shiny. It had a terrible smell. I'm not really sure what it smelled like but kind of reminded me of a mix between silicone and latex. Overall I didn't see a difference in appearance to my face other than it making my face super shiny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Im so annoyed Unfortunately this product has been an actual nightmare for me personally I have very sensitve skin and have issues with cystic acne . This cause my skin to break out all over and im in acutal pain because of it . Im super bummed out because i was finally getting my skin to a place where it was hydrated , clear, and healthy . I would not recommend this product at ALL if you have acne prone skin. ( NOTE: I recieved a one week sample and I tried to give it a chance but about by day 3 the lower half of my face no lie had three bumps where I was breaking out under my skin and it was extremely painful )

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid serum I received a sample of this complimentary from Influenster. I tried it out for a full week before writing this review. The texture is silky but a little viscous (as opposed to more of a water-type texture) but I do feel it sinks in quickly as opposed to sitting on top of the skin. My skin did feel more hydrated and I did not notice my fine lines as much after using. I am experiencing some texture (small whiteheads) but am unsure if it's related to the serum or just hormonal. Either way, I did not experience any discomfort, sensitivity, or irritation from using this product. It may be more suited to drier skin types as I typically lean oily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for mature skin! I think this serum is wonderful for mature skin, just not for mine. I gave my sample to my mother and she felt that in a short period of time, it did help to brighten up her face some! She didn't see much of a difference in her fine lines but only used it for a week so thats understandable. For me, I could not use it because there are too many ingredients in it that I know would break out my sensitive skin. I don't think this would work well for people with acne prone skin because there are a lot of comedegenic ingredients in it. For less sensitive, mature skin types, this serum seems to work really well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually Repairs Your Skin I recieved a sample complimentary for reviewing purposes from influenster. However, I have bought and used the full sized bottle. I am currently on my second bottle of the ANR serum and I will forever repurchase it. I started using it when I was 22 and I used to work at cosmetics counters. I am blessed to not have any wrinkles yet but it keeps my skin hydrated and plump. I use this product to prevent and postpone aging as much as possible. I have tons of hyperpigmentation from acne and it has helped me fade the scars. My skin feels amazing the next morning after using it and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Highly recommend
