Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product but need more refills [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying the large pack of the clips for the past few years. I have about 1000 hooks with no refills to be found. This is such a waste of a great product. I guess they are considered disposable. I hate to throw them away each year after using them for my Christmas lights but what is the sense of keeping them if you can not get refills. I see that there are 12 pack refills but I have never seen them in any stores. 12 will do no good and at that price its cheaper to just buy new ones each year. I think that is what the company intended so they continue to make money while not caring about the landfills.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't work as well as the white ones While the idea of using clear strips is nice they do not work like the white ones. So far they have been a waste of money. We can not get the hooks to work at all. We have tried cleaning the wall and leaving then up for longer than 1 hour, which is the recommended amount of time and everything is still falling off the wall. The 1lb limit does not seem to be correct. Lets just say Items that we can hang using the white strips we can not hang using the clear hooks. It has been very frustrating as we are finding most stores only carrying the clear strips now and can not find the white strips anymore. I LOVE the command hooks and white strips! I use them all the time and they work great! I have never had a problem with them. The clear strips, I'm sorry to say, have been a disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They have a shelf life The small clear strip have a definite shelf life. We bought some for hanging decorations December of 2020. Worked great. We left a couple of them up to hang seasonal decorations throughout the year. About 18 months later one of the decorations fell. Went back to the package for a replacement strip and it had no adhesive on either side. The paper covers just kind of fell off. Since then we have had another fall off that had been up for about 8 months. We had to buy a new package of hooks to get strips as nobody seems to carry the small, clear refills. Maybe put an expiration date on the packages?

I used them for several projects that are put up annually so I need to be able to put the hooks up and take them down. When trying to rehang the hooks I have had a very difficult time finding them. One of the stores said they checked with the Command co. and were told there were no replacements for the small clear hooks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I miss the white strips As with another reviewer, I found that as I am putting up the Christmas decorations in the same way as last year, the clear strips are not working. I used the white foam strips the past several years and they work beautifully. Now I know I'll have to plan ahead to find/order the white ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love Command Hooks, but originals wouldn't stick! When I opened my package of 18 small hooks all of the adhesive strips had dried up & wouldn't function. I had to get the refill package of adhesive strips, which meant the original 'value pack' had lost some of it's 'value'! Overall I still love 3M Command Hooks for organizing around the house & craft room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these a month ago and I'm glad I did!! I hate putting tacks in my walls and leaving holes every where. These command strips are excellent. Easy to apply .With just a little measuring pictures hang beautifully on my wall without rocking . If you have to move them the command strips come off so easy without tearing up your wall.And the best part is, There is no holes all over your walls!! Love the command strips and recommend them alot!
