Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds the load [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were about to have our interior walls painted and wanted to avoid using nails afterward. I decided to try the Command products and chose the heaviest picture we have - 17 lbs! Prior to the paint job (in case it might have damaged the wall), I used a pair of the "Sticky Nail Wire-Back Hangers" for this picture. It held the heavy picture for two weeks, no problem. When I removed the product as instructed it was easy and there was no damage or visible remnants. We now have Command products holding up all our pictures (about 50). A definite plus for future sale of the house.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't last Lasted 3 years then boom down came my beautiful clock, damaged our wall and broke my beloved photo frame under it , no damage to clock thank goodness , hubby went out and bought a new hanger the same and we rehung , in the middle of the night I woke to a huge bang , I was unsure if I had dreamed it , I woke my husband and he said he thought he heard a noise to , I said I hope it wasn't the clock again , I got up and sure enough he was my beautiful clock laying on the bench ! That was only not even 12 hours after hanging the new hook back up ... I'm very annoyed at the damaged it as left and won't be buying another or recommending this product to anyone

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fatal Design Flaws Bought these for the 8 lb weight limit, got them home, opened them, then read the directions. These have a fatal design flaw. Installation involves stabilizer strips attached to the lower back to the frame that are installed by pushing the frame flush to the wall. The problem? That's impossible - no frame with wires or saw tooth hangar on the back can EVER fit flush to the wall - it will ALWAYS be out a bit further at the top and hang at a slight angle with only the bottom edge touching the wall. Which means the picture WILL fall off. I called the company and their response was "okay." The fine print also shows a size limit that should be prominently posted at the top.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Jumbo Universal Picture Hanger Terrible product, hung 3 pictures in my kitchen with these. 1 lasted a year before the hanger came away from the wall and the picture fell to the floor damaging the skirting and destroying the picture and frame. Thought it was a one off until today when a further two months later a second picture crashed on to the kitchen work top. Fortunately the picture and frame are intact this time as the fall was broken by a wall socket. Edging around wall socket damaged though. Won’t be using these again or recommending them to anyone else. Product not fit for purpose even though I followed the fitting instructions to the letter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This review only concerns the instructions Bought the 8 lb item with instructions 17048-ES (English and Spanish) last week at the Container Store of Santana Row (San Jose, CA). Line 1 of the instructions image 2 and the text say "remove GREEN liners", but there are only red and black ones at the strips. line 2, image 2 sais "CLICK". Looking at your instructions on Command.com, I found instructions 17048 (only English), which on line 1 "remove RED liners", and on line 2 quite an other noise... 17048 seems OK with what the package contains actually, but 17048-ES should be corrected. This is of no importance on the quality of the product, it is a small "beauty spot" on the Instructions .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work! I’ve used Command products since they first became available and have generally had a good experience, although not so much in recent years. The adhesive is faulty. I carefully checked the weight limits for this product (8 lbs.) and used it to hand a 4-lb. mirror. I applied the hook to a clean, dry wall, applied pressure, and waited well over an hour to hang a mirror. During my absence from the house a few hours later, the mirror came crashing down. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from picture crash twice in our previous house I found the picture on the floor. damage was done to the trim, etc. that I needed to repair. picture is well below the rated load. both times the pin had popped out of the plate causing the picture to fall. the plate was still attached to the wall. we are in a new house and I am ready to hang this same picture. I hate the holes in the wall but am unsure I can trust the attachment of the pin to the plate. I am curious if anyone else has reported this problem?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safely secured. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this product first arrived at my home, as a free sample, I was shocked at how big it was. My first thought was industrial overkill. After having the chance to use it though I feel confidence instead of intimidated. It was super simple to place on the wall and with the slender design, it doesn't effect how the art hangs against the wall. I haven't tried putting any weight above the recommendation, but the art piece I did hang with it is still right where I put it. I have removed the art twice to check the 3M hanger just to reassure myself, but it's still safely secured!
