Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wireless Doesn't Work Well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this printer for nearly a year now, and even though it's in the exact same room as my router/modem, and there are no obstructions between them, it is unable to connect daily. It's such a pain in the rear! I've called the customer support line half a dozen times, followed all their instructions while on the phone, and can get it to work for day or two. Then it always goes back to having to unplug the machine, hold the power button for 30 seconds so it drains all power, and replug it in again to see if there's a network connection. I've had to do this more than 50 times, and I'm just plain tired of it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A victim of an HP firmware update no my printer rendering my 3rd party cartridges useless (until I swap the chips out which I plan on doing when the HP cartridges run dry). Better yet, the firmware update disabled the wired and wireless networking capability of the printer. While this is a known issue with the update, HP has done nothing to rectify it, let alone provide any troubleshooting assistance. It's taken me about a week to figure out how to get the printer to work again on my own. You can bet that I've disabled the automatic firmware up dates on the printer and that I will never buy another genuine HO product again.

The online purchase form and its related shipping choice options are very easy to use, very customer-friendly. The timeliness of shipping is almost always reliable. On the other hand, the product is hugely expensive and the price no doubt includes an excessive profit margin for HP. In addition, the product does not print as many pages as advertised and must be replaced often, always with "sticker shock."

I have tried other brands that are "compatible" with HP OEM cartridges but always had issues. Save your money and use HP cartridges as they are the most efficient and dependable cartridges around. Quality speaks for itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 202x [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the M281fdw. I just purchased this printer in December. I need to replace another brand printer. I needed something that was an All in One. I print in color all the time for work. I tried to use generic toner cartridges, the life and color was not crisp and only lasted about 1000 pages. The color with genuine HP toner is so clear, crisp and vibrant. I am at 2000 pages at the time of this review and the color is still as good as the first page I printed. HP genuine toner is worth the little extra money. The printer will also show that the toner needs to be replaced but still continues to print great quality prints. Continue to use the toner until the colors fade.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New HP202a cartridge I bought a new cartridge for my HP laserMFP281fw printer. When I installed the cartridge it did not work. There was no ink being discharged. I was printing reports for my school and there was no black ink. I put back the old cartridge that still had a small amount of ink and printed a test page. It worked. I have to print reports for my school and the defective cartridge was a disappointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Boxes Have No Product Mfg Info Only the Cyan cartridge has "Product of Japan" on it. The Cyan and Magenta cartridges have no product manufacturing info on the boxes. Not sure if this is a "standard" HP product. Haven't tried to use it yet. Hope my HP printer doesn't reject the 2 cartridges with no manufacturing info. Cartridges are ridiculously overpriced. The 3 cartridges cost more than the printer price I paid for it new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Toner for my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always grumble when I have to buy toner. It's expensive. But I will say that installation is so easy and there is no mess. This technology has come a long way. When I think about it, the price isn't that bad considering how many thousand pages I will get out of my printer. I also like the pre-paid labels and boxes to send back my old toner cartridges for recycling. That is a nice touch. All in all, I get professional results out of my printer and original HP Toner cartridges.

Imagine buying a car, happily driving it for three years, then Car Brand pushes a "security update" making it so you can only put Car Brand gas in your car. But that's stupid, you say, gas is the same! And you'd be right. And Car Brand would be wrong, bad, and dishonest. And that's what HP has done here.

I had problems with those off brand ink cartridges and regretted buying them. Now I only buy HP ink cartridges and am always satisfied. My advice is, don't waste your time with another brand. HP ink cartridges are the best by far!

As a result, my toner is in constant need of replacement. The HP printer software gives me notice when toner is getting low, and it is very simple to place an order. The toner arrived as promised and in good condition. The labels needed to return the used cartridges for recycling were also included as promised. I only wish toner was more affordable for college students!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the 202X I ordered yesterday and replaced the old knock-off toner I was using to save a buck. I've been using it super often to print out colorful documents and pictures. Wow! Buying the HP OEM toners was NOT a mistake! The colors look waaaay better than the cheaper alternatives! It was super easy to install, simply open the printer, pull out the old and insert the new. Overall this was a great purchase. I won't be buying knockoff toner ever again.

They are currently sitting in my storage area awaiting installation in my LaserJet M281 printer. I anticipate that they will work very well in the printer once installed. That will likely happen within the next few months.

So I paid $404 for a cartridge set when the $136 set I bought wouldn't run. No warnings in the HP marketing materials for my printer, or in the instructions included with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed at the quality and consistency of the original HP 202X toner cartridges for my COLOR LASERJET PRO MFP M281CDW. I haven't always found the OEM toner to be the best with various other machines in the past, but I am sold. HP has done it right and consistent. My color prints are rich, dynamic and beautiful. They are durable as well as frame worthy. I print a lot with my business. As a Graphic Designer and Food Cart owner, I print a lot and I need my work to be consistent and good quality. From menus for the cart to proofs for my clients, I need to be picky. I cannot say enough about the HP 202X (CF500XM) Cyan, Magenta, Yellow Original Toner, 3 Cartridges, they are exactly what my business needed. Thanks HP. #HPInkInsiders

These cartridges never dry up and clog like ink jet cartridges do. High capacity cartridges cost less per page to print so it is a bargain.

I am pleased that I didn't have to spend a lot of time trying to decide what to re-order. As for the cartridge, performed right out-of-the-box and that is above and beyond other cartridges. Other cartridges would take a few print jobs to perform as expected; and/or you would have to calibrate the new cartridge. With this one, fire and forget. Will order from this site again in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comparisons [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Other ink suppliers promote their products as less expensive and high yield as well as declare HP programs their printers not to accept their comparable products. They can advise one of possible ways to force the acceptance. I suggest one must call HP Get Human phone and to supply your printer model and SN to get a less expensive product with true higher yield. The process expedites a better product for the money. I am submitting this review of my own volition and due to my experience. But please know I am allowing the submission to be considered for a sweepstakes entry. Delivery time is, also, much faster by a week in my case. So please do a quick search to learn the true facts and you will likely find as I did: HP is the best product!
