great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried several DVI adapters and had consistent problems of a slow input and a flickering screen. Since Apple does not offer an official DVI adapter, I believe that they agrology that the new USB-C connection is not easily compatible for DVI connection. If you have an older monitor with DVI or VGA, this seems to be the best solution. This is a cheaper solution than trying to buy a new monitor that can be supported for the new MacBook Pro via USB-C.

VGA only, no power charge with my adapter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so disappointed because I got an adapter with faulty power connection right out of the box. Only the VGA component of the adapter works, but that defeats the purpose of this also being able to charge smaller devices simultaneously. I love Belkin products, but this was a miss for me. I tried connecting my compatible devices per instruction, such as surface laptop, iPad, iPhone, and AirPods. None of these devices received any type of charge when plugged into the adapter using a lightning usb c charge cable. I tested different charging cables with the adapter, and no devices received any power. I made sure all the cables could receive power, so I knew it has to be this Belkin usb c to VGA plus charge that was not functioning well. The vga functionality works, but I’m disappointed overall.

Great!

I've been using this on my LenovoPC which does not have ports for HDMI or VGA output and this little adapter has been extremely helpful when hooking up to projectors in the classroom. It is very lightweight, good quality. It has held up nicely and has worked perfectly every time.

Works Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and immediately tried it out. Being that it was usb-c I plugged it directly into my laptops docking station. I then plugged my old vga monitor into the back of this device. My computer immediately detected the new device, setup its drivers, and now I have a third monitor to go with my existing 2 monitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe USB-C to VGA +C is a handy device to connect to a VGA monitor with other devices i.e. a laptop or chromebook to a VGA Monitor. I used my Chromebook to attach to a VGA monitor for a larger viewing area. It can bring technologies together which can help with viewing or presentations!

So far I like it but I wish it had another USB port since it only replaces the USB port with a VGA connection and allows for USBC charging. Other than that I recommend this product.
