Great compact camera
I bought this camera on a friend's recommendation, and I am very pleased with it. It is light and easy to carry around my neck on its strap, whilst having the features and results of a much heavier SLR. The picture quality that I get is excellent, and operation of the camera including using the many features is fairly straightforward once used to the menu system. Very occasionally a picture taken seems to become corrupted before saving properly onto the SD card, which only becomes apparent when played back, but this is thankfully rare.
Overall, it's a great camera for its price, and makes high quality photography accessible without the need to carry a large SLR.

Lightweight Semi-professional Camera
I bought this camera because I would like to work as a photographer later, so I need to take photos for my portfolio, and a smartphone camera or a compact camera like the Sony Cybershot series might not provide the necessary picture quality. But this camera definitely does, especially for the price. It might not be a fully professional camera, mainly because it doesn't have a full frame sensor, but in most situations it's sufficient for taking impressive photos. There are many different modes, I was particularly impressed by a night scene mode which takes clear pictures at night with very little light without the flashlight or a tripod.

Just what I needed.
I bought a Sony A6000 that came with a 16-50 kit lens. However, I needed a lens that I could use to videos of garden birds, so decided to purchase the 55-210 lens which is perfect for my requirements. Being an amateur I'm not that experienced in using a camera but the Sony A600 with the 55-210 lens is so easy to use plus when I'm more experience, I have the option of using the camera in manual mode. The only thing that concerned me was the lens box didn't have a seal on it which I had when I bought the camera, but I guess there's a good reason for that.

Very nice little camera.
I already have a DSLR which is fine and works well, but I bought the a5000 to use as a 'Bridge' camera. One of my main photographic interests is Street or Urban photography and the a5000, compared to the DSLR, is perfect in this field. It is small, with the flip-up EV screen it is less obtrusive, the shutter is quieter, it gives me full manual control when I need it, the 20+MP, APS-C sensor produces an excellent picture, and it outputs RAW ! All in all, a good buy !! One criticism however, the instruction book is far from comprehensive !!! I've had to learn to drive it mainly by trial and error !

impressive results
Purchased this relatively small and light tele lens together with my Sony A5000 and it's standard 18-50mm lens. These 2 lenses cover the whole range I need. The results are impressive and better than my SLR camera/tele lenses photo's. Recently I took many photo's at an international hockey final and I managed to get sharp pictures from one end of the pitch to the other. Recommended!

Get it, great value and quality.
I have been on and off buying this lens for ages, encouraged by reading good reports and discouraged by reports that were not so good. Recently I purchased and have to say that I am entirely delighted with the results I get from this lens. I take daylight pictures so a slightly slower lens does not affect me, I want sharp pictures and that is what I get. I’m not a beginner, around 60 years experience and would say to potential buyers, don’t hesitate, a great value lens.

Great compact system camera
I bought this camera as a handy alternative to lugging around my backpack with my EOS and all the various bits of kit I have built up over the years. Since I have had it I have not used my EOS ! This is a great piece of kit. Easy to use and the menus are easy to navigate. A couple of reviewers have commented on the delicate pop-up flash. Yes a bit on the delicate side but I say just be a bit careful !!. you don't need to use the flash on a lot of occasions as the camera takes great shots in reasonably lit rooms. The results I have had so far have been great , sharp and full of detail. There is a good few manual and special effects options for the creative photographer too.

Great Quality
I purchased this product around a month ago because I was looking for a lens which would give that bit of extra length when zooming in on a particular subject. I currently have the 18-55mm lens and this additional lens rounds out my needs for this camera. The quality of the lens is excellent, it is light in weight (great match for the camera), and the images it produces are sharp. The overall weight of the camera and lens makes it a ideal choice for taking on holiday. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to step up their current camera gear to the next level.
