Bosch 9kg washing machine
Im a huge fan of Bosch, so when our 18 year old washer eventually died on me this was a natural choice. The really great thing about this model is that its so quiet and spins 1400rpm, so less drying is needed. We live in an old wooden house so didnt want a washing machine that shook too much when spinning. Well we scored a home run with this washer, hardly any vibrations even on the highest spin. Lots of washing options plus cold to 90degree wash temperatures. Whats also nice is that you can select a standard cotton load, then change the temp, add a prewash and extra high water. Its a really substantial machine, not at all flimsy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am only a couple of weeks in with my Bosch. After years of its main rival I decided to get a Bosch, reason being better value for money and more programmes. MMerge only downside so far is the length of the hose. I had read a review saying it was short. It is, I have a standard machine standard space and distance to my outlet/ inlet pipe. Your hoses just made it and no more. Really?? Far too short. Hence you lose a point as it doesn't look pretty under my work bench, stretched hoses! Otherwise happy with machine. Early days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd bosch washing machine I have owned over the last 29 years, When the latest one failed it was a no brainer to replace with bosch again after 12 years of hard service
This machine is amazing and i thought the old one was great. Super quiet and smooth and even during the water filling cycle its still nearly silent, clothes are cleaner, water usage down, and nearly dry after the spinning cycle.
There is no way I would ever consider buying anything but a bosch washing machine after the relaiability and longevity they have given me.
We have a bosch condenser dryer as well that still works as well today as it did 12 years ago when we purchased it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several different load types used so far, clothes fantastic but ran into trouble washing sheets & towels together, wouldn't spin them dry like my clothes, cycle finished and everything was still soaking wet like it couldn't balance the load to spin well enough...after attempting a couple of reloads with no joy ended up removing everything and doing Spin/Drain cycle separately for the sheets and then for the towels in the end.

This model sits in cabinetry in my kitchen, so it was imperative that the washer I bought gave off little to no vibration during spin and was quiet. The Series 8 does not disappoint. Its control panel is easy to use and so clear. The light inside the drum is a great bonus that I didn't even know it had! Best of all, the Series 8 has great capacity and handles any wash with style. I love the detergent loading and how easy it is to go between different detergents for different loads (ie, black washes, stain remover required etc). I'd never buy any washer but Bosch and this one definitely doesn't disappoint! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We love our Series 8 front loader
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had already owned another BOSCH vacuum cleaner product before, due to a breakdown, we were forced to replace our washing machine. On reviewing what was available on the market, and listening to the 'experts', deciding on the Series 8 was a no brainer! Easy use layout, loads of different cleaning scenario choices, solid construction, and so quiet! And..front loaders rule!! Larger drum size means more room for our laundry to wash and rinse with ease. Started using liquid as well, so no more powder residue!! Love it!

Extremely happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with purchase. First time using front loader was a bit apprehensive, Found very easy to use. Have used for shirts and towels to date. Wash just over an hour which was quicker than I was expecting and great spin for extracting water even on gentler spin for shirts. Quiet compared to our last machine a top loader.
Installer took transit bolts with them which we will need when we need so not installed at standard I would have expected and we have followed up with store where we purchased.

Ive been told that the towels when washed go hard- is this correct
Hi Jenni. This may happen because the towels are generally tumbling through just a little bit of water rather than floating through lots like in an older-style top loader. To help with this it is recommended to use lower spinning speeds when washing towels. Hope this helps

A 1-star review said this model "come into issue that do not take the powder detergent. We replace by liquid to keep it going then it gives errors for time to time for different issues such as water is low or too much." Is this true: No powder detergent?
Great question Lilac. Yes, you can use all detergents and care products which are suitable for domestic washing machines. Washing powder can be distributed to compartment II. It also has a handy measuring aid which allows liquid detergent to be used in compartment II as well. What special installation is required for this machine

Does this model have a steam function
Thanks for your question Kazza. Unfortunately Bosch do not offer a steam model at this time. This unit has an Allergyplus/Hygiene programme that keeps the temperature during the wash cycle constant and adds an additional rinse cycle to ensure hygienically clean laundry, as well as other great features like 4D Wash, Antistain, and Intensiveplus.
